It appears not many people care, however it continues....

"At first glance it looks like the set of a James Bond movie -- a seemingly impregnable mountain base packed full of uniformed men and sinister-looking missiles on their launch vehicles parked along a long tunnel buried deep underground.

But this is in fact a real-life missile facility in Iran, according to the country's semi-official FARS news agency."

"Iran is completely overhauling its missile technology, replacing the current stockpile with newer weapons, a senior general told state media.

"As of next year, a new and advanced generation of long-range liquid and solid fuel missiles will replace the current products," said Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh.

"The missiles in various ranges are mounted on the launchers in all bases and (are) ready to be launched."

The pictures in this link are impressive to say the least, but no big deal, right ?

We should just nuke Iran and be done with it. Liberals would be happy because they wouldn't have to get their hands dirty in the trenches. Eventually, we will have to bomb them. Might as well do it now.

I realize most on this forum prefer to talk about people and simply gossip.

I apologize for the boring posts, but thought folks should know this.....

"The nuclear deal between world powers and Iran comes into effect Sunday, beginning a series of steps to be undertaken by both parties to curb Iran's nuclear activities in return for lifting economic sanctions.

The accord was reached in July following two years of negotiations between Iran and the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany.

Sunday marks 90 days since the United Nations Security Council approved the agreement. "So adoption day is a calendar-driven event and it’s the day at which all the parties begin to take the steps they need to make sure they take to get to implementation day," said State Department spokesman John Kirby. "And we’re not at implementation day; that’s a whole different purpose."

No date is set for implementation day.

"Under the deal, Iran must submit formal answers to questions from the United Nations nuclear watchdog agency about suspected past nuclear weapons research. President Obama must issue waivers to suspend nuclear-related U.S. sanctions on Iran, and the European Union must begin the process of terminating its sanctions on Iran."

Nuke deal between Iran and world powers takes effect

"The U.N. Security Council passed a resolution codifying the nuclear agreement on July 20. Last Sunday, Iran announced it test fired a long-range precision-guided ballistic missile even though such tests appear to be banned under the Security Council resolution.

Speaking Friday, President Obama said the firing of the missile would not derail the nuclear agreement."

EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN SHOULD BE UPSET AT THIS.

IT IS COVERED MUCH LESS, IF AT ALL , THAN THE CONDITION OF LAMARR ODOM.

"Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), stalwart critic of the Iran deal, deserves to say “I told you so.” He had suggested that sanctions would be lifted even without revealing the possible military dimensions of Iran’s program, that the inspection process (including self-selected samples) was nonsensical and that we would embolden Iran in the region to, among other things, further boost characters like Bashar al-Assad. Right on all counts.

On Monday he wrote to Secretary of State John Kerry:

"The recent test launch of a precision-guided, long-range ballistic missile by Iran was a violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1929, and I appreciate public statements from both the White House and the Department of State memorializing this fact. As we discussed during your July 23 appearance before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (SFRC), UNSCR 1929 stipulates that Iran cannot presently engage in activities related to ballistic missiles.

But, with the October 11 launch, Iran has done so – on several levels – whether it is through research, development, planning, concealing or launching this reportedly new technology. And as some of my colleagues on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee have pointed out in separate correspondence to you, Iran’s violations of UNSCR 1929 have become common. The Iranian regime is drawing a line in the sand that demonstrates with malice that it will only selectively meet its obligations with respect to internationally sanctioned weapons programs. What meaningful steps will the Administration take to respond to the latest Iranian provocations?"

https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...again-on-iran/

NOW......

"I suspect Kerry will do nothing, but the question is whether Democrats will once again accede to the president.

It is important to understand how we got here — and to understand Democrats’ complicity in a policy of appeasement. "

"If the administration does not enforce UNSCR 1929, the resolution that explicitly forbids the recent missile test, this will only embolden the regime that it can act with absolute impunity. It is long past the time for the administration to show resolve that violations have real consequence.”

No surprise whatsoever!
The Iranians are proceeding as planned.
Obama will do nothing as expected.....by the Iranians.
Appeasement just doesn't seem adequate to describe Obama's actions.....agenda accomplishment!

Anything that requires a decision is not in the cards of the Obama administration.

He has the response of a tent peg!

There are times when inaction is the best decision.

In this case, the beginning of a HUGE gamble on our part, it does not seem that we can afford to allow and permit.

The results of allowing this deal to go south could become a disaster.

I am shocked. To my knowledge, and I will stand corrected if I am wrong, we have not even issued a condemnation statement on this.

And anybody else curious why our self indulged, Obama supportive media has not pursued the inaction? The violation? The open arrogance of the Iranians to state that they did it and dare anybody to object?
It is so obvious that Barry and Kerry are incompetent and in the pocket of the (laughing) Iranians.

This may serve as warnings for those Democrats taking "victory laps"

This article speaks to the recent Iran launch of intercontinental Ballistic Missles.

"a group of Senate Democrats responded with a letter to Secretary of State John F. Kerry denouncing Iran’s move as a violation of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1929 and calling for “unilateral and multilateral responses.”

"“There must be no ambiguity in our willingness to enforce Iran’s obligations under UN resolutions and the JCPOA,” said the Oct. 21 letter signed by 11 Democratic senators.

Only two of those — Sens. Benjamin L. Cardin of Maryland and Charles E. Schumer of New York — voted against the deal.

The episode exemplifies a worst-case scenario for Democrats as they head into next year’s election, namely that Iran will give Republicans ample “I-told-you-so” opportunities by breaking the agreement, violating other international sanctions or keeping the issue in the public eye with recurring acts of aggression or anti-U.S. rhetoric.

Iranian aggression since Obama nuclear deal looms as 2016 headache for Democrats - Washington Times

Only two of those voted against which means already the voting Dems are weakening.

Anyway, should be an issue for the debates between the two candidates next fall.

Obviously this is not near as important as what Ben Carson may have said, but just an opinion....

"President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry were convinced their one-sided nuclear deal would lead to better relations with Iran, but it’s already doing the reverse.

Tehran has taken two more Americans hostage just this month — and followed up with a massive cyberattack on the US government, especially the State Department’s Office of Iranian Affairs.

The kicker: Iran is holding the nuke deal hostage — threatening to junk it if Obama tries to punish the country for its fresh outrages.
Wake up and smell the coffee, guys.

When they seized one of the new hostages, the Iranians also grabbed his computer and forced him to unlock it. That allowed the Revolutionary Guard to launch what The Wall Street Journal reports is a massive cyberattack.

And, of course, the new hostages — charged with spying, natch — join three other American citizens already held."

I have a serious question for the Democratic/progressive/liberal posters who post routinely and often to denegrate anyone who happens to be Republican.

You never post on ANY thread involving our country and foreign affairs, no matter what. Actually, the same would apply to domestic affairs UNLESS it has to do with race.

What does that indicate ?

Iran is holding AMERICAN hostages and continues to take them.

Yet, we are lifting the sanctions from them.

Does not seem to be important based on this forum and the MSM, so let's get back to the important news of the day......what did Ben Carson say ?
