Keep your intolerant interpretation of your religious book out of my civil institutions. There is not a whit of difference between Sharia's followers interpretation of their book stuck in the 7th century and certain so called Christians, who are stuck with their insistence that their book should also be imposed on me with their 1st century interpretation. This is NOT a Christian country, it is a country with a lot of Christians whose founders somehow completely forgot to mention religion at all in the Constitution except to say there is no religious test for holding office and there will be no government endorsement of any religion. Not very super duper Christian of them. They kept their religion private and out of our defining document. Get over it or at least admit you have the same goal of imposing your primitive faith on me as the fundamentalist Islamists. Great post - really puts it all into proper perspective. Never heard of Clayton Jennings before this so it led me to look up who he is and what he does - sounds like a very interesting young man. I do think we may see some big changes with the millennial generation and I pray they will be such that it will turn our country back in the right direction. What you quoted him as saying in your post, plus the quote by Billy Graham, are words we should all strive to live by. Thank you!
