Probable cause that Manafort and Gates committed a federal crime, a felony, determined by a grand jury comprised of ordinary citizens. There is a high probability that these individuals will be spending time in federal prison. Hopefully more indictments will be coming down the pike, and we can see some real "draining of the swamp".

Trump has been trying his usual smear campaign to try to deflect attention away from the investigation itself and from himself. The American public knows that Mueller is a person of integrity, and is the right person for the job. The only way he leaves is if he is forced out by Trump. If that happened, Congress would simply re-appoint him.
