Furthermore without putting anymore effort into this I doubt the executive order says "ban on Muslims". I think it names a ban on 6 countries of which some Christians are included. And to your point yes Pence is right a ban on "Muslims" is probably unconstitutional but he did not say that is what just happened.
If you can google you can find it.

This ban only prevents people from seven countries from entering the US for 90 days. It says nothing about Muslims. In fact the most populous, Muslim majority countries are not on the list.
Why didn't he include Saudi Arabia where the 9/11 terrorists came from. It's because he does business with them. You trumpsters have been conned and will not admit it,

Go look again, as Chump's executive order absolutely targets Muslims (not the ones in countries where he has business interest of course)...and favors Christians.

And you're OK with this unconstitutional discrimination?
I try not to be "ill informed". First place to start is when someone publishes a statement with quotation marks to ask for the source. Second is to have enough smarts to realize when someone is on a diversionary path not to answer a direct question.

And Obamma's policy favored Muslims...why were you OK with that? Why did you not speak out against the discrimination towards the minority Christians??

Actually, you should first "have enough smarts" to know when someone quotes your post...and not someone else's.

Unless of course, you are also WinstonBoogieJr...under another account.

However, to go back to the request from the poster who asked when Trump stated... "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States"....here ya go (with a link/proof)

Donald Trump calls for ‘total’ ban on Muslims entering United States - The Washington Post
Quote:

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump called Monday for a “total and complete” ban on Muslims entering the United States, barring followers of the world’s fastest-growing religion because he considers the faith rooted in hatred and violence.
You're welcome.

I guess the constitution changed.
I have heard a lot of references to the constitution. Can you site the section, please? My understanding is that the constitution applies to the citizens and not all the people in the world. Do the constitutions of other countries also govern the citizens of the US in the US?

You're welcome.
I'll give it to you. Thanks for the reference that supports your post. It is customary to site a reference if you put something in quotes. Also I dislike your timing of posting a Dec 7th remark on Jan 29th again without reference and in lieu of the fact the executive order was signed yesterday. Perhaps a slight directional steering of the facts but still true. If this is the way you would like to play the game you can go play by yourself.

But it was ok when Obama placed a 6 month ban on Iraqi refugees in 2011 entering the US?

Yes, yes it is (at least by honest/decent people)... "customary to cite a reference."

If you're not a flaming hypocrite, then please be consistent and tell RubiTHECon (plus a number of other Trumpsters) to supply links/proof...every time he/they make(s) false proclamations.

I'm sure you're a person who values integrity, honesty and ethics...so that should be a simple request, right?

I'll be anxious to see if you do so.

I "play the game"...by proving what I say.

I realize that it oftentimes sends others into a rage, when they're shown to have egg on their faces and are caught lying...but that's not my fault.

Should there not be quotes around "this" ?

And just to let you know Rusty Ol' buddy, the original intent of Trump...WAS to ban only Muslims.

No less than the guy he asked to draft the language (Giuliani)... admitted to it.

I'm guessing Chump will be in a rage...about Rudy opening his mouth about that.

And yes, as usual...I have the proof.

Giuliani: Trump asked me how to do a Muslim ban 'legally' | TheHill
Quote:

"I’ll tell you the whole history of it: When he first announced it, he said ‘Muslim ban,'" Giuliani said on Fox News.

"He called me up, he said, ‘Put a commission together, show me the right way to do it legally.’"
So now tell me, do you think discriminating against a particular religion...is constitutional?

Or more importantly, do you think it's right...and what America should stand for?

If you don't, are you willing to condemn Chump for trying to do it?

If you do, then I expect you're a fan of that elected populist guy (like Trump) who came up with a 'Final Solution'...for that religion he didn't like.

I'm guessing though, that now that you're part of the group I mentioned above about getting egg on their face...you will not reply to these questions.
