Monday, 15 May 2017 11:28 PM Current | Bio | Archive The Washington Post reported Monday that President Trump revealed "highly classified" intelligence to Russia Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during their recent meeting at the White House. But the Post forgot to mention that the President’s conversation with Lavrov is itself among the most secret and classified matters our government holds – and the leak of key parts of that conversation is likely a crime. This is now the third time in a short period that the president's most secret and private discussions with a world leader have been leaked to The Washington Post. Such leaks are a serious and illegal attack on the presidency. They undermine the country, trust in the president and his ability to maintain global leadership. There is a lot more of the onion to peel with this Washington Post story. But when we continue to peel this noxious onion we discover the facts just don't measure up to the allegations. The Post headlines that the president revealed "highly classified" information, suggesting this was perhaps either illegal, improper, or both. Forgive me, but the last I checked the president is commander-in-chief. He can decide what is a classified secret. He decides what can be shared with allies, adversaries, or even the public. That's his decision – not some bureaucrat's! So, what was that intel the president shared that was so secret? So, the REAL most dangerous thing is the fake news being sent by people afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome, and who do so with reckless disregard and abandon ignoring the safety and security of this nation. Personal Best Regards: |

I admit to being, and for a long time, disgusted with this mans life and lying both before and after the election, however my country is the most important thing and the only loyalty I have is to the USA. You have very seldom seen me criticize his policy positions but you have and will hear me on his enormous lack of character issues. This particular story got my attention as I have never witnessed a President being accused of such a terrible vile act of espionage. Thus, I spent a lot of time investigating both international views and from our country. I will simply skip over your deranged comments about fake news and the syndrome you parade around these parts. You are simply totally and completed brainwashed. Facts are there....you just have to WANT to know NOBODY has disputed that he shared the information with the Russians. Lets stop there and think......a sitting President in the Oval Office, with the head of the Russian spying group, with no press EXCEPT THAT from Russia tells the Russians anything classified is alarming and if it is not for you....well, Can he do that legally....of course. He is the President and can declassify anything he wants at any time. That is one fact that is disconcerting to me and a lot of others and if you read the foreign press they share that view. Leaks are bad....any american who does not agree is simply unamerican. These leaks, many if not most actually have come from his own staff. He has bad mouthed publicly and internationally our intelligence agencies....he has bad mouthed publicly our own FBI as the world listens and hears it. He then fired the FBI director and admits he wanted to stop the Russian investigation which he still, DESPITE INTERNATIONAL CONFIRMATION OF ITS TRUTH AND refers to his own FBI as shoddy, demoralized...all by the way debunked UNAMINOUSLY by every single person except for him. THUS....for context...NOBODY TRUSTS THIS MAN....NOBODY. The leaks will continue as that trust erodes. What he shared and as of yet, neither he nor anyone has denied...is the city from which this information came. THAT IS A SERIOUS SIN I find the humor and dismissal of all that is happening IN OUR WHITE HOUSE to be of maximum concern. I find it not funny but sad |
