Reagan won in a landslide.

I think you would have to look mighty hard and long to find posters who did not think that MSNBC is very liberal and kind of hard to listen to for more than a couple of minutes. FOX is the same way with the right but they do have more interesting commentators on FOX.

if people were NOT done with obama, why would msnbc feel the need to distort their reporting? if obama has the votes of the dems, women, blacks, hispanics, etc, why is there so much of an attack on romney?...why is there such a need to raise buckets of campaign cash?...why isn't the obama campaign and msnbc just running him on his record?

The MSNBC report narrated by Andrea Mitchell, wife of Alan Greenspan and edited intentionally to make Mitt Romney look like he is out of touch with the average guy was a serious infraction of a journalist integrity. This breach is exacerbated because it was committed by a well thought of professional such as Ms. Mitchell who is married to one of the most notable Americans of our century.

The misrepresentation while egregcious pales in comparison to the implications of this breach. It is really tragic because if the American people cannot believe what is reported in their local newspapers then perhaps we are beginning to witness the beginning of the end. The integrity of our journalist , the voice of the people should be accurate to the degree of journalistic certainty.

You could very well be correct in what you say...no way to know.

All I know is the support they seem to get on everything and one of your cohorts said in an earlier post about having it on all the time and being an avid fan of the network and certain shows.

But, you might be right....dont hear many folks mention near as much as Fox !

the discussions could become very short and to the point if the concept of right or wrong could be applied by some posters.

The continual defense by some by using examples from else where is nothing more than trying to establish a wrong is OK because lookie, lookie who did or said something like it before!!!!

What a dirty, disgraceful thing to do. I use to be proud to say I worked as a journalist. How much more obvious can the tilt to the left be when it comes to the news media? What MSNBC did is disgusting and they should be called on the rug for doing that blatant editing to make Romney look bad. People! Wake-up!

These reporters have a story to tell and find "facts" to back them up. Case in point; Katie Couric used to be a local reporter on NBC Channel 4 in DC. She made a series of reports about singles in DC when HIV/AIDS was new. She wanted to say that people joined singles clubs to avoid Aids. She came to one of our monthly Catholic Alumni Club of Washington dances. No officer would say such a lie, they filmed at our dance, and found a visitor who would say on camera that maybe it was a way to avoid AIDS, she put that on TV. She also filmed a Jewish Singles softball game. cut to a MD who said you can't tell if someone has AIDS by sight. But she persisted in her fake story.
