I understand what you are saying, but I think many democrats support the planned infrastructure spending.

However, you are correct that the appointee hearings will make great tv. I am betting the Dems finds way to bring Flynn into the conversation even though not required. He and Bannon are scary dudes to have the ear of a President.

Democrats better think twice before getting too spiteful. The Republicans have two years, at least of total majority. Like Obie had, only he squandered his chance to do some good. The Republicans had the country on their side when they were the party of "NO." That's why they got a historic majority during the midterm election. All the Dems have going for them is spite, not consensus. On the other hand, perhaps they should not heed the warning and go full steam ahead with their radical and petulant tantrum. It will just destroy their party, making conservatives stronger.

It seems all progressives can do is hurl vitriol, call for continued disruption and passing hints of assassination with their tweets and facebook entries.

People such as Keith Olbermann and Hollywood celebrities have the spotlight and the ability to broadly spread lies rumors fear mongering about a president. Olbermann has told his audience never refer to Trump as president.

Even with democrats voting no, republicans will probably still be able to get rid of all these programs through reconciliation.
