Katz and Richie,

I sure hope that posting was supposed to be funny and did not represent your true feelings.

A shooting game with targets of Republicans is terrible. However, to laugh at the murders of doctors such as Barnett Slepian and George Tiller is worse. These were actual murders committed by fringe lunatics who were Pro-Life advocates. Tell me that you do not hold the murderers (Kopp and Roeder) of these doctors in esteem.

HOWEVER??..........I don't have to say anything else. You think a depiction of the massacre of some are more egregious that the massacres of others? Katz's post was brilliant in drawing that out.

(Katz's post was obviously posted to provoke, and then to draw out the hypocrisy, and succeeded brilliantly)

I did start my posting with "a shooting game with targets of Republicans is terrible".

The murder of Drs. Tiller and Slepian were real. They were done by Pro-Life lunatics.

I do think the actual killing of two doctors is worse than a video game. Joking about that is heinous That is the "however".

Village Golfer,

Do you disagree the murderers were Pro-Life lunatics? It certainly does not typify Pro-Life people as a whole.

First of all Katz never mentioned any names. I couldn't even name an abortionist. I guess I don't consider them heros. She just said abortionists, which are the sacred cows of the religion called abortion for the avowed leftist. That's why you got incensed, I believe.

You're very quick to come to the aid of abortionists and even consider their lives to be more sacred than those of Republicans and Fox New personalities. That's the way I see your argument.

Some of the "famous Tea Partiers and Republicans" in the video game are people (complete with names) that I have great deal of love and respect for. When I was confronted with such graphic images, I literally was nauseous.I am not a video game fan so was shocked to see the images let alone the people who they were depicting. I think that anyone who has read any of my posting on TOTV should know that I am totally PROLIFE and against MURDER of any kind. I am starting to think that this forum is a place with many double standards and I did post my game idea as a response to test that theory. Apparently I need to rethink why I am participating at all.

Don't let the hypocrisy of the left discourage you.

Don't over think this Katz. I was not kidding when I referred to abortion rights as a kind of religion to some people. You cannot change their minds anymore than they can try to change your mind about your belief in your own faith. What we are doing is sharing differing opinions on an area of human behavior that is very disturbing, to put it mildly. Just let it go, and we'll go into a new direction. We've all made ourselves perfectly clear.

Very well put, Richie. I said the same thing before, too. Ladydoc said the same thing.

Pro-Choice is very important to some of us; Pro-Life is very important to others of us. We are not going to change our minds.

Leave it alone and remain on good terms with each other.

Never had any doubt that we wouldn't jeopardize friendship over this issue, or I wouldn't have entertained discussion of it.

But, when it seems propitious, we pro-lifers will always try to save those innocent lives, and we have to try to change minds, one at a time if we can. The mind of the woman behind Roe vs. Wade changed. We have to try to change more; for the sake of our own souls.

I positively give up trying to change the mindset of people who advocate the killing of babies, but abhor the killing of murderers. How can they be against the death penalty but gleefully be for killing millions of innocent souls?
