I'm not sure who you are talking to. He's clearly not a liberal, neither am I for that matter, so it must be me. I'm open minded. I no longer go to church on Sunday. I am familiar with it's teachings.

The part about me being lucky to get out of a gay meeting alive is interesting. What does he imagine? The members figure out I'm straight, kill me and go back to their meeting.

I was trying to respond to the person and going to the Rainbow Club meeting. Found that really funny as the Rainbow Club has an event every Thursday night in TV and has had for years.

What are you going to do, pull his hair or bite him? Maybe you would get real excited and brave and slap him. Get over it, if you want to convince someone to accept you as you are (abnormal) then you must present a normal appearance, or at least not a weird clown appearance. I don't want to see a couple making out in public, whether hetero or homo. Homos are welcome in my home under my conditions. Act respectful and do not attempt to convince anyone in my family that it is a normal relationship when it isn't, while in my home. Most of us TOLERATE but do not condone. If one does not condone abnormal behavior it does not mean they will not tolerate. I do not condone the behavior of someone's unruly child, but I tolerate them. I do not condone excessive drinking and drunken behavior, but I will tolerate my friend(s) when they over imbibe. I have never struck a homo, therefore I tolerate them. However, don't push me, because I may discard my tolerance. If you wish to be treated with respect, then you must respect my beliefs. I do not tolerate gay pride parades, and will not be seen anywhere near one. If that makes me a bigot, then I will wear the label with no remorse. You can force changes to laws, but you can't force acceptance.
