What if.....just what if her job was to get the company positioned to be able to "lay off thousands" (very unpopular), to close down plants (very expensive) clean up the balance sheet by dumping select assets and do the very best that could be expected while writing off or writing down these assets (all of which could be a huge hit to earnings).

She gets the job done. The current results do not look very good at all as a result of actions taken (expected). The company is now positioned to be leaner in physical as well as monetary assets, well positioned for improved financial results in the near term (?). She agrees to take the public beating that goes with the poor results. She gets $21 million to go on her merry way.

Now the above could well be a hypothesis. It could also be something akin to what really happened.

When it comes to what gets said and done at the CEO level and the board of directors level and what gets published for public consumption do not have to match. It just has to be legal or not illegal.

Just musing out loud!

The woman is more capable than Obama as a elected POTUS. She is more capable than he is today. She makes Clinton look and sound like a political dinosaur.

If Obama were measured for results.....promises made VS promised kept as they do in the corporate world, he would not have made it through a second year.....let alone 6!!!!

yeah, that's what they said about Mr. Etch-A-Sketch when he announced last time.

PT Barnum was right .........

Carly Fiorina is polling at 1%. Why are we even having this discussion? It will be interesting to see how the RNC will try to get her into the debates, because she is a woman who can attack Hillary Clinton, when her poll numbers are so pitiful.

You seem to have forgotten a coupe of items voters MAY consider when, as you say, "The woman is more capable than Obama as a elected POTUS. She is more capable than he is today. She makes Clinton look and sound like a political dinosaur"

Things like under her leadership HP's earnings collapsed, HP stock fell by 50%, and she was repeatedly named one of the worst CEO's in American corporate history.

And let's not even mention the 10,000 (at least) jobs she destroyed.

And, of course, let us NEVER mention she was FIRED !!!!!!

I guess to a Con that is a success.

Muse out loud all you want, but the establishment GOP will not have a Black person or a woman on their ticket. They saw what a disaster that Sara Palin was and realize both Carlie and Benny are of the same calibre as Sara.

Find it amazing that the lefties say Fiorina and Carson aren't presidential. Guess being a community organizer and a do nothing senator does.

Not only that, it just goes to show it's not at all about elevating women or minorities at all where liberals are concerned, because if the woman or minority is not on "their team" it doesn't count. The mud slinging continues just the same. This is the crux of the real hoax that they perpetrate.

It's both entertaining and breathtaking to watch the level of liberal hypocrisy on this matter ... they only want house-trained women or blacks who repeat and propagate the liberal progressive semi-Marxist leftist "religion."

The leftys will cast a heretic into the fires MUCH faster than a medieval inquisitor ever would or could.

That's what gets me ... I've worked in government, served in the military and in private industry and each had it standards you needed to meet or exceed. In short, you really did have to deliver or you would hear about it.

Someone like Obama, who is clearly all talk and no action, would never have made it to a senior rank in any of those environments based on merit. As it turned out, he was able to "talk" his way, with some help from the teleprompter, and promise a lot of gullible people the moon and they bought it. Human nature seems to be constant in every generation, because people love to hear stuff like that.

Yeah - Osama Bin Laden bought it - hook, line and sinker.

I happen to have firsthand knowledge of some of the activities that lead to UBL’s death. The wheels were put in motion long before Obama ever showed up. He happened to be there when we finally zapped him. Ironically, the methods and intel we used to find UBL were later discarded by Obama. In other words, had his policies been in place originally UBL would likely still be around.

That’s actually what irked me the most when he later broke security in various ways and took credit for it. Most people, like you, would understandably have no way of knowing how it actually occurred.

Please note that the persons associated with the campaign ADMIT that the story is true. And there are links within the link to other sources.

Sometimes the dirt dogs find a real bone, right?

Ah yes, we should vote for a CEO of a wonderful corporation who was incompetent and got fired? The stock prices of HP went downhill while she was in charge and climbed skyward when she was fired.

She had a miserable showing in her bid for public office.

No, this person is NOT ELECTABLE. Scratch Carly off.

Well, we have scratched Carly, Huckelberry, Christie, Paul, and Jindahl.

Not many more out there.

Hillary - you are looking more Presidential each and every day.
