It's not a moderated site that I can tell. You'll notice that there is a screamer, a full frontal bigot, a compulsive every other post troll, a rambling bloviator, a certified curmudgeon, and a greetings and salutations blowhard. Who would want to moderate such a motley crew?

I'm not sure any of those traits deem being banned from the forum, but you forgot to mention the full out personal attack one poster recently lobbed against another poster. Now if a moderator should ever step in, that would be the time. There certainly have been other personal attacks on here, but none that I can remember that was as vicious.

I would like to see some moderating of this forum as it would help to keep the discussion flowing properly and hopefully stymie the lashing out of some who often have nothing to add to the discussion except name calling and hateful vitriol.

Moderators are chosen according to a point system :

You must have never ever have voted for anyone but for a Democrat , a Socialist or an Anarchist for any office as far back as for Class Officers at your High School .

You must have never learned anything at all about Economics , Fiscal Policy , Accounting or Business .
Additional points are awarded if you believe everything you hear in the Main Stream Media especially MSNBC , CNN , The View and of course if you believe everything written in the New York Times and The Washington Post .

Also preference is given to anyone who is a native of NY City or " Lung " Island because they always have the correct insight on everything .

Being loud , foolish , fool-hardy , constantly angry ,hysterical and especially a very poor loser will get you very far with the Judges .
Being Female gets you an additional 100 points .

That was actually very clever, astute...and dead on.

It won't take the new person long to figure out, which ones exhibit the traits that you've mentioned.

And the "new person" if so, started his second comment to the forum out as an attack on another poster. Not something a "new poster" is normally inclined to do. Not that I would call out a fraud or anything.

The owners of this site are the moderators or hire the moderators. If unable to log on someday means you've been booted. Read the site guidelines on the main page to avoid being kicked off.

Occasionally, there are some good discussions on the political forum, however, there is a lot of "clutter" that you will need to ignore to get to an interesting and informative post. Some call the "clutter" fun but it does get tiring after while and you will need to take a vacation from the forum in order to maintain your perspective.

The Political Forum was taken off TOTV for a while and then put back on again. I for one, can understand why as they were trying to moderate and it must have taken way too much time and effort. Anyway, it is what it is.
