Memason,

The right-wing nuts are just trying their Stupidiski techniques one more time by calling everyone who does not agree with them a Nazi. Yes, shock value is what they are aiming for but their aim has gone right to the foot - as in shot themself in the foot.

Polls have shown that the American voters do not trust Tea Partiers.

Look, it has nothing to do with whether it's historically right or wrong. There are a thousand ways to make your point, without invoking that word. When you associate the AMERICANS that are demonstrating for what they believe in with that regime, it's just wrong....in my book. At least they're out there doing something; not sitting at their computer, like you and I.

Just trying to keep it real here.....

Are these words better..."some pre-WWII Germans"?
Still waiting for the history book...Easier to throw mud than to get out a shovel and dig deep to find the truth?
That's OK, because until you come up with the proof that the post is wrong, mud washes off easily.

At least WHO is out there doing something? AGITATORS? ...I am a very PEACEFUL and ACTIVE member of the Tea Party and just happen to be home on the computer for a short time today...We had planned to participate in the 38 mile Tombstone Cyle tour but have 40mph winds today.

I looked at the video clip and it sure looked as though someone did spit on Cleaver. I cannot say 100% but it did look as though spitting took place. It did look like a frenzied mob that confronted the Black Caucus and had to be held back by the Capitol Police.

The Black Caucus deliberately tried to antagonize and provoke the crowd to violence and failed to do so. That is the unvarnished truth.

Since they didn't get the result they wanted, they made it up.

This is how credibility as a conservative is lost; by buying the liberal lie and giving them comfort in their duplicity. Think about it.

(just conversation; don't be overly sensitive now, there's no threat implied in this post)

Buying into the lie seems worse, in my opinion, than the leftists who are posting here who know they're lying.

"The poll, conducted for TIME by Abt SRBI, surveyed 1,001 adults — 83% of whom described themselves as likely voters — between Oct. 9-10." Also, 669 of the 1,001 adults polled are familar with the Tea Party.

I think you replied to the wrong post. I was only saying that both wall street and tea goofballs have enough nuts to be called a mob. I personally would join the tea goofballs since I am old, white and have short hair and therefore, at least I would blend in. Since I think they both are very destructive to the American way of life, I cannot agree with either one of these mobs. Please read my posts more slowly before you insult my credibility.

VillageGolfer,

Are you calling me "Comrade" as a sign of friendship? The only other reason is that you are calling me a Communist and then an earlier post by one of the conservatives said that liberals were Nazis.

May I set you straight? Nazis were the extreme right wing in Germany. Communists were extreme left wing people. The two are not interchangable titles.

Both are abhorent names and I certainly do not think you would be calling me either one. So, I will just have to take your calling me a comrade as a sign of friendship.

You like calling people names and then offended when you are called one? Seems there is a name for you but I don't want to offend you.

I understand that the rules for posts in the Political forums are more lax than in the other forums but I see absolutely no reason to be calling fellow citizens of the United States either communists or nazis. I find both to be abhorrent. Have a discussion, air your differences, but leave the name calling to the bullys on the school yard. As educated adults it is not necessary!
