Why are not those in here speaking on behalf of President Obama posting any responses to the foreign policy or the Russia thread ? Just curious

I saw this RED line below in the link in the OP. Maybe it was not intended to be part of the post. Sorry. I'm with the club. White men are the masters, not women. Let them get there own club. For those that do not think with a full deck, My Post is Sarcasm. Also, I do not know what the bump option is. I am new to this board

Default Both Obama AND Romney take this position.

Obama, Romney Agree On One Thing: Women Should Be Allowed In Augusta : The Two-Way : NPR

http://www.theatlanticwire.com/polit...t-women/50794/

This is a current event, why cannot political candidates and the POTUS comment on this issue?? What's the big deal? I do get the big deal with the Masters and allowing women into the clubhouse. There does not seem to be anything much going on here though with both Obama and Romney commentating about it. What's next? Both Obama and Romney do not like the rain stopping the golfers from playing?? The Cubs lost again! DeAndre Brackensick got kicked off AI.

Good question, Bucco.

Both Obama Romney answered the question on the admission of women to membership at Augusta National Golf Club the same way, yet the heavy majority of posters here jumped all over the POTUS, with expressions of outrage and disdain. Yet other threads posted here on serious questions or issues really important to te country draw few responses, and even then some are shallow, trite, mean-spirited or intentionally try to misdirect the dialog.

I hope this pattern doesn't reflect the thought that voters in general will invest in selecting a President and members of Congress to lead and represent them.

I don't know about whether Romney's favor among women will actually slip much lower than its current dismal level. But it probably explains why Romney responded as he did, drawing no particular response here, an eye-opening difference from the outrage expressed against the POTUS, where many here asserted that his answer to a reporter's question was self-centered, pandering to women, and even calling him a derogatory term.

Hi mr Kahuna.

After only a few days of reading in this forum, you appear to be a very small minority of folks that don't slander either side of the political gangs. Refreashing.

Believe me Golfingnut, you are better off. Don't look back. Enjoy The Villages and all it has to offer. You now have an understanding of how they (6 PAC, 8 PAC, 10 PAC) drive members away. ...been going on unfettered for some time. You can stay if you fall in line with their beliefs. Almost said ... fall in line with their thinking, but that means that they indeed are capable of that activity. Hatred, bigotry, ignorance and following the party-line blindly are the only motivating factors.

I agree the political forum on TOTV is not much fun. I post on there hoping that people other than the usual group of Republican fanatics will actually look at some of my links and hopefully start doing their own research into political matters. Villages Kahuna's posts are a breath of fresh air though.

Obama's pronouncement compared to Romney's was, as usual, when Obama pronounces he gets headline and front and center play by all the media. Romney, like all the rest get a column (maybe) somewhere....maybe a little more if it serves the purpose to aid Obama.

Taltarzac725,

I'm not saying that it will be useless, but pretty close to that. You'd have to line all of them up with a fence-post to see any movement.

I agree with your assessment of VK. If he were to run for a State or Federal Representative seat for the State of Florida I'd vote for him in a heart-beat - that is, if he'd just get rid of the one type of thinking that matches up with his signature line. I'd wholeheartedly support term-limits, but could never support NOT voting for ANY of the incumbents. That would be a solution too simplistic and too radical.

First of all VK, it is frustrating that a thread likes this is hot and heavy with those who support this president, YET they totally disappear when you want to discuss real issues. I suppose they dont care and will vote for him no matter how much he lies and deceives.

Sort of glad you "came out" But defending him on this issue, to me, is just conversation to pass the time

If it is not such a big deal why is the subject on Obama's lips right now, again, this morning as he is covered front and center by the media. He is working anything to do with women into an election pandering issue.

That is why it is such a big deal. I don't accept the ideology that if your man speaks about it it is for a good reason.

If anyone questions or does not agree with what Obama or the talking points suggest we get pummeled by the supporters.

As was asked by other posters where are the quick and ready supportive responders when a real issue/question is asked?

Probably agree with you on issues like this, but ask you to step back and at least recognize that most who support this President on this board will only actually discuss things like this and are totally absent except for the occassional one liners on any issue of substance. If you mention Palin, etc you will get posts...but mention foreign affairs, budgets..you know those incidental issues, check it out...NOBODY ever even addresses them
