Thank you for the post...I to was lucky enough to be in CA when my nephew got home from his 4th tour and saw is youngest daughter for the first time. It was quite emotional. The funny thing was his oldest daughter, about 3 at the time, thought that anyone older than 50 should be called grandma..me being of that age...oh well. My sister was ok with it so we didn't correct her. My nephew knew about it but had never actually heard it so. There we were walking across the parking lot when she turns around and says come on Grandma. My nephew completely lost it...so funny. Neither he nor I ever thought that word would ever be used in reference to me.
