....

We were the first home in our community to own a TV set. It is because my father worked in a lab that developed them. He also invented the mail sorting machine and quite a few other inventions, but I digress. But, I do remember the old Black and White shows. I also remember the "black" show, Amos and Andy. The Superman series was first in black and white and later in color. I remember how my uncle said that the new color TVs would destroy your eyes. In those days, if you wanted color you went the theater to see a movie, IF they were showing one in "Technicolor. "

Nope--I lied a little.

My grandfather had a piece of transparent vinyl that stuck to the b&w tv screen using static electricity. The top of the screen was shaded in sky blue, the middle was grass green and the bottom was dirt brown. When Little Joe, his brothers and father were sitting on their horses, as the credits rolled, Papa had a color tv.

That means you will need to get off the couch. Are you sure you are ready?

It's always the same...ignorant people...with really loud mouths. Always shouting down the truth. Blissfully ignorant, the ignorant rabble. They "know" and don't want to hear anything else.

Are they ignorant because they're lied to and they're naive? Are they ignorant because they ARE idiots to begin with and lying is so easy to control them?

Look at all the "great lies"...the various religions...the different political systems...equality...no wonder half of them are on psychotropic drugs. The world has become one big con, one big lie. We're living in The Matrix. We're "plugged in" via the media. It tells the people WHAT to think.

The idioticizing, the 3rd worlding, why is it happing/being allowed to happen? Others realize it. Is it ALL for the growth in population that governments need? I can't see how a nation full of needy idiots is good.

Reagan also offered amnesty to over three million undocumented residents during his tenure. Is this the same as keeping them out, or keeping them in?

And maybe you were speeding in a school zone yesterday.
What does that have to do with what needs to be done in the here and now.

I personally feel people who always quote or blame the past are ill equipped to deal with, take a position on, or make a proposal on the CURRENT problem.

They either belittle, diss, call names or refer to something in the past. Pretty shallow basis for discussion.

Not to worry, Sarah Palin has stepped forward to single-handedly take down Paul Ryan by supporting his primary opponent. Say hello to Secretary of State Palin.

Funny, but it would still be an advancement up from Sec. Killary. Of course, that is not saying much. Anyone is a step up from Clinton.

Still having problems with self expression? The villages have a lot of learning to learn courses to build up self confidence so you don't need to rely on other people's posters and thoughts. It would be a better use of your time.

If Palin is making sense to you it's time for a check-up. I don't mean that to be funny. Ask your children if you still have the good sense to trust them.
