I must be having a bad day but this evening in checking the news these are the headlines I am reading and hoping it is all me....

First a best selling Pastor, David Wilkerson who has written a number of best selling books has predicted "An earth-shattering calamity is about to happen," he writes. "It is going to be so frightening, we are all going to tremble – even the godliest among us."

THEN....North Korea is preparing to send what they call a communications satelitte up and folks around the world suspect it is test firing of a long range ballisic missle..and they announce

"We will retaliate (over) any act of intercepting our satellite for peaceful purposes with prompt counterstrikes by the most powerful military means," the official Korean Central News Agency quoted a spokesman of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army as saying.

THEN.....Wikipedia, the online encylopedia is erasing references to any debate on Obama's birth (I have no problem with that actually) but also any references to Rev Wright or Bill Ayers have been deleted from the site within minutes of being posted.

The Treasury Secy is working non stop around the clock because ONLY ONE of the 15 key treasury department positions that require congressional approval is working becaouse none...not one of these positions have been filed..NO deputy secy...NO under secy's, etc.

Starting to feel like a bad bad novel.

It is depressing ! Hope there is some of that HOPE tomorrow !!!

forget the newspapers....get out in the sunshine, it's good for a person.
Do whatever gives you enjoyment. Know for sure as the saying goes....this to shall pass.....and it does, history continues to remind us of that.

The biggest enemy of piece of mind is the 24/7 media coverage of only what is bad in the world....and their ability to get and pass it along at a faster rate than ever....however it is no more valid than yesteryear.

Probably worse than yesteryear though is the media's intense alignment with the current administration....how the report...insulate...anything that is against their agendas.

Fo example, last week Brian Williams/NBC...the absolute king of negative driven rhetoric, the sky is falling reporter on the planet...made a statement that said something to the effect that in these trying times Obama's approval rating has managed to be at 60%.....as opposed to the real fact his rating has slipped from 65%.....I don't really care that %5 is no big deal...it is just the misinformation method of reporting a supporting an illusion....THEIRS!!!!

No, you're not having a bad day. You just are wise enough to not stick your head in the sand and pretend that the Titanic is unsinkable... what iceberg?

I go thru a similar scenario almost every nite.... it'll probably kill me or so says my wife.

I am desperate for leadership and direction and reassurance...

you will remain disappointed as the political system does not for any of these.

The notion that ANY politician will do what is right is unrealistic...unfortunately e the people are not the priority......ANY past administrations or current.

Same-oh-same-oh.

Free enterprise, assuming not choked off, will solve our problems....NOT POLITICAL BAIL OUTS.
