Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.

Sounds like the Tea Party is using some of ole Sal's tactics....

Do you ever watch Morning Joe on MSNBC...I always try to watch.

This morning they were discussing this WH and administration and how they handle the press. They were talking about "punching down" which means acting high and mighty and striking at anyone who says anything bad about you (my short definition of a discussion) and how this WH does that more THAN ANY ADMINSTRATION ANYONE COULD REMEMBER ~!

Which reminds me...when will this President ever have a real news conference...I will even watch it on the network of your choice but seems unlikely that he will have one anywhere in the near future. We are now approaching a full year !

Unless they come up with a teleprompter that can anticipate a question with an answer it is unlikely to happen. Fox news didn't sign the loyalty oath in blood like the lap dogs did and there is always a chance that an errant question that wasn't planned might be asked.

Actually I do tune into Morning Joe when I am in a hotel or in Colorado. I don't have full cable in TV.

Honestly I hadn't noticed about the press conference.....
