I tried to do the same at Democrat headquarters but some new black panthers with night stcks wouldn't let me pass

Rubicon, that was actually an amusing post. I think the Republicans have less of a chance of getting me inside their building than I have of getting RichieLion to buy me an ice-cold Yeungling at the watering hole.

It is not common practice for senior cabinet members to campaign in presidential elections. You can be sure Hillary's husband, Bill Clinton, will be very visible on the campaign trail.

I am quite certain he is a democrat. As for the democratic party I grew up with, neither they nor the republicans would have embraced him as a national figure... he is black you know.

The fact of the matter is the Democratic party you grew up with is no longer the same Democratic Party, Much to my Dad's dismay I changed parties shortly after Kennedy election. The Democrats Party went racing to all the fringe groups no longer representing middle America. Today it is so left leaning that Democrats pray at the alter of Saul Alinsky. Conversely the Republican Establishment had gotten too far to the right. Most people are right to center . I view Romney defaulting right to center after the campaign
I wish we would follow other nations and set aside say a three month period have candidates debate and then open the polls. We are wasting so much valuable time and money on pure nonsense.

I'll wager most people are ready to vote now

Rubicon says, "Today it is so left leaning that Democrats pray at the alter of Saul Alinsky."

Two things, Rubicon. First, use your spell-check or old time dictionary. You mean "altar" and not "alter". Completely different meanings - even though I did know what you meant.

Secondly, I doubt if most Democrats have ever even heard of Saul Alinsky much less read an entire book by him. I actually doubt if most of the wubers on this forum have read a single thing (an entire book, I mean) by Alinsky. Have you, yourself, read one of his entire books? I know I have not.

By bringing up the name of Saul Alinsky, it is just more FOX tripe that means absolutely NOTHING since hardly anyone has read his entire books.

Is it necessary to constantly chastise anyone you disagree with who inadvertently commits the grave sin of including a "typo" in their post?

Do you think this adds to your charm?

Everyone on this political forum knows who Saul Alinsky is. He's the "godfather" and teacher of his ideological heir; socialist and radical terrorist Bill Ayers, who is married to socialist and radical terrorist Bernadette Dorn, who are friends and mentors to the current occupant of the people's house who began his political career in their living room.

Nope, old buddy, I did not chastise Rubicon. I corrected him. I am sure he appreciates the chance to improve himself.

It does not sound as though you have read an entire book by Alinsky. It does not sound as though you know much about Alinsky, either. Read the attached link and learn something for the day.

Hope you did well in golf today.

Ah ha! Why didn't you just say the Republican caucus in the House of Representatives in the first place? That we would have understood.

Well, of course, richie will likely dismiss the source (Huffington Post), as being a left wing source of propoganda. As far as the question "why is Newt demonizing him" - I would respond that the name "Saul Alinsky", doesn't need much more to arouse fears or distaste among many right wingers.
