Rev. Franklin Graham has said he is leaving the Republican Party over the Budget approved by Republicans that included funding for Planned Parenthood.

Republican leaders are very concerned that other evangelical ministers will do the same thing and take their evangelical flocks with them and stay home on Election Day.

Cruz is counting on evangelical white Christians to vote for him.

I have been a registered Republican since 1968 and I support Graham's actions. Today's politicians seem to run under the party logo they believe will get them elected but once elected they act in way and manner for their self interests and ensuring they are reelected.

Its why GOP has a disdain for the Tea party, for Trump. Carson, Forina, etc
But mostly its why the majority of voters are so frustrated

Had GOP taken a firm stand against Planned Parenthood funding perhaps they may not have stopped the funding bit they would have at least exposed the Planned Parenthood lie.

So voters ask well who fights for the moral imperative, traditional America, exceptional America, free America?

The Republicans voted Paul Ryan in as the Speaker. He wisely did not believe that fighting the Planned Parenthood funding was important enough to close down the Federal government. The Republican party would have been seen as not willing to compromise and of obstructing the government. The times the Republicans shut down the government before did absolutely more harm than good to the Republicans.

Now, the question remains, will Franklin Graham's action take white Christian evangelican voters on his path and not vote for the GOP nominee?

Planned parenthood doesn't even make the top ten of problems we have in this country, with all due respect to the Reverend. This dialog just keeps us from addressing the real issues that are going to cause us a little pain. Like paying for war we are promoting.

Evangelical white Christians are a cornerstone of the more conservative Republicans. Black Christians gravitate heavily to the Democrat party. But, you knew that.

Like any of Graham's followers were going to vote for Hillary.

I'm a Christian and I have no intention of following Graham. He is NOT his father, and even if he was it wouldn't make any difference to me. I vote my OWN mind, not someone else's. I am not a needy, dependent liberal that needs someone else to make decisions for me. And I don't try to hide the fact that I am a Republican, like the liberal troll on here with multiple, Sybil like personalities, trying to fool us into thinking he is NOT REALLY a dependent, needy liberal. Just google something on the order of this thread title and you will come up with many articles including those from FOX expressing concern over evangelical voters. You will also see information pertaining to white evangelical Christian voters and the Tea Party.

If you just want to vote Republican, do it. No problem with me. Just do so for reasons that are real and not just what the voices in your head say to do.
