Default Revisiting our roots may draw clarity and definition?

I am interested in hearing from other members, who have as much an interest, and perhaps a better grasp, of discussion concerning "The Federalists Papers". Those 85 articles and essays written under the pseudonym Publius but constructed by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison and John Jay.

Their writing was tasked to reflect support of the U S Constitution. The central question as they defined it was:

"It has been frequently remarked, that it seems to have been reserved to the people of this country, by their conduct and example, to decide the important question, whether societies of men are really capable or not, of establishing good government from reflection and choice, or whether they are forever destined to depend, for their political constitutions, on accident and force."

Perhaps a manner of communication is to have a member chose one of the 85 articles lend his/her interpretation and then receive feedback from other members. Perhaps they can offer an overall view of this topic. Perhaps there is little interest? what I do know is the constant trolling is damaging this forum and it can be a wonderful vehicle for intelligent discussion and understanding.

Personal Best Regards:
