I know it sounds counterintuitive but it's just the way the world has worked since antiquity. My question was how are you going pay for all this intervention. We have not paid for the first tomahawk missle we lobbed into Iraq yet. We are passing the cost to the generation that we sent over and their children.

The same way that we pay for everything else, we'll borrow the money from Japan and China, etc. Some people only worry about the cost when it come to military spending, while the cost of every other spending program is ignored.
