Cassie - I thought about it. In fact, I looked on Photobucket to see if I could find a moose!!

That in no way indicates my candidate choice. Just thought it would be a hoot!!

I grew up with sarcasm...............
It's something I will forever dislike..................
Something said sarcastically is the speakers true feelings hidden behind "sarcasm"
Once again it is always the same ones on TOTV

Default Havin a little fun...

Jav...as you can see from both my posting and Islands posting...we both thought it was funny...AND we are on two opposite sides of this presidential race...and once in a while we need a little humor in here...I am sorry you do not like sarcasm...some of us can really get sarcastic at times....but that is why this wonderful world and website is so great...because we are all different.

I am sorry YOU felt the way you did...it was not intentionally meant to upset you.

Thumbs up Undecided Voter

I am going to go see Sarah Palin for 2 reasons...1)She is in this election and 2)coming to my hometown.

I come from NH where ,early on in the process, the candidates for the presidency are a dime a dozen and you can sit in someone's living room with them. Now that I live here in TV I haven't had that opportunity. I am delighted to have the chance to size up Sarah. I would attend a rally for McCain, Obama and Biden if given the opportunity. To me it is all part of the process, I need to see them for real, so much more informative than what the pundits tell me or the photographers and journalists present.

I have always been a registered Independant until moving to FL where you have to declare a party. I honestly haven't decided who I will vote for. I read a statistic that a large number of woman voters do not actually decide until they vote...that's me. So if Sarah wants my vote she needs to impress me on Sunday.

I can see it now, both of you fighting over the television, switching from Fox news to MSNBC and back....

It's nice when we have different views and still all play nice in the same sandbox.

Hahaha, Frank. Yes! We do have some lively debates, many very humorous. But, you see my husband and friends understand me. They know that I never mean anything personally. I find that humor takes the edge off of things. How the reader wants to perceive it, is their problem.

Besides my husband, all of my true friends tend not to be insecure people that have problems with a little good humored jabbing. I'm really not of the mind set that "everyone must agree with everyone" it's silly and unrealistic. If I were to lose a "friend" over a political position, then they were not a true friend to begin with. I simply weed out these people.

My husband has a very dry sense of humor, so our debates can actually get very funny and we just fall down laughing and hug each other. I wouldn't have married him if he couldn't stand up to me. I don't like mealy mouthed people!

Because facts don't matter usualy when it comes to Democrats. And if I am not mistaken from a previous post she is voting for him "to help make him part of history as the first black president."

Real good reasons.

I haven't spent tons of time researching it, but I read somewhere that this was a poor reason...that Mr. Obama is more middle eastern then black.....200 years ago his relatives were more slave traders then slaves......but either way, it is a poor reason. I doubt if any of us going for a job would want to have it be decided by our relatives 200 years ago.

I find it disterbing that many who I know are voting for Mr. Obama are doing so out of frustration with Bush.......to that thinking I respond....President Bush is not running this year.....he is done in a few months.

Back to Sarah....she's pro-life, pro-gun, has executive experience, is tough, she is against the cronyism, walks what she talks, she is a pilot, she is not from Washington DC, etc,etc.....I was bummed when Ron Paul dropped out early.....but now with Sarah, there is a bit of hope again.

The most they could dig up on her...... Trooper-gate?? That guy is a whack job that should be fired!

Boy, I wish I was down there to see her.....oh well. Enjoy!!

I never said that I was voting for Obama because he would be the first black President. I'm voting for Obama because I believe in him and like his stands on the issues. If you're going to talk about me, at least get it right!

Chelsea,
I know you were not referring to me, but just to make sure, I was not saying you said that......I do not know who the person was referring to.....I was just stating my opinion that the reason would, IMHO, be a foolish reason by itself.

I know we are of different opinions politically, but I try to get along with all.

I've learned long ago that in all of the great debates, they are what they are simply because credible arguments can be made on each side. If they were not that way, none of the issues would be an issue for very long.
