Why am I seeing Chi-town's name appearing and we all know who the other is by his style. He can't keep a name long enough to remember it himself.

And this matters, why?

Actually all the comments, stats and data cited tells me this nation is in a real mess and especially since three president have been associated with drug and alcohol problems. to me that's the real issue and a scary one at that.

Then you add to that criminal, unethical and bad leadership of presidents and /or presidential candidates and it gets down right depressing.

Posters shouldn't be directing their umbrage at each other but at those who continue to diminish this nation.

Alcohol abuse is as old as the nation, as are dalliances. This is nothing new. What's new is that everything you write on the internet is being stored and can be retrieved. As a 12 year old your view of the world is very different then as an adult. It's always evolving. As you form your ideas and they evolve, if you are dumb enough to post it people will make something out of it when you are older. I think that's the problem.

Within hours a DUI that should mean nothing to anyone outside of the family can now be judged by everyone on the internet.

Everyone can be put under a microscope which could mean that no one will be "qualified" to lead in the future. If "qualified" means being above sin.

Why don't you show me proof that Bush used coke? And, I am talking about his admitting it or being busted for it. Not, some liberal rag repeating a rumor. Not that it is relevant. So this whole thread doesn't mean anything in relation to the election. Everyone has someone in their family that has been charged with DUI.

I knew a fellow who went to college with George W. In fact they lived in the same place . My guy stated that George drank and liked to joke and have fun but that he was not a drug user in college .
