Hasn't been much of that lately! Particularly the first 100 days....And he (0) just keeps on without anyone calling him to task. :-(

Honestly I dont see all these GOOD THINGS HAPPENING....

I dont see any decrease in the influence of the lobbyists and not sure why anyone would say that. I checked and the lobby spending last year in 2008 was the highest amount of money ever spent by lobbyists since 1998 when Open Secrets started to keep records. They sure were not lobbying Bush ! My source is Opensecrets.org which keeps all the stats by industry, etc.

I do see we have the largest deficit ever and a President who says dont worry because he can balance it, and even his own advisors admit what he is saying is a terrible long shot.

I saw a "Stimulus bill" passed with ABSOLUTELY NOBODY in congress reading one word of it and that contained about 45% (subject to discussion) on nothing but spending bills that the Democrats had been trying to pass over the years.

I see a "Stimulus bill" that is packed with fine print (two examples...I can get my 250 stimulus check but not the break in withholding if I work...anyone know that until today....TWO....the states get money for increase in unemployment BUT after that money runs out they MUST continue to pay at those levels...gee wonder what that means)

I see the leaders of congress in one week standing and lying to the american public...that being Pelosi and Reid (both well documented...well, some places) And of course we are to believe everything else they say !

I am not sure about our security to be honest. I KNOW that there is more private than public but the public things I am seeing are a bit scary.

So, for me.....nothing much going good going on in Washington Dc. It is politics as usual and maybe a bit more acid tongued than ever. This President thinks that his lectures are making the government transparent, but Mr President...while you are great with the words it takes just a bit more !

Great point! One can only wish for the previous 8 years of "common sense" and complete wonderment of the fantastic years of George W Bush. Sadly, they will never be repeated.

Thank God!

Last time I checked GW isn't President anymore.

So anyway back to today. I don't see much of anything good either. All I see is our money, economy, jobs, national security and pretty much everything else American being flushed down the toilet by the Democrats and a few Republicans. I hope these politicians burn in hell for what they are doing to our country.

But you know what? My electricity is being turned off, I can't pay my mortgage next month and my pantry is low on food so I've decided to take a loan and buy that new truck I've been wanting.

Washington has completely lost their minds and any shred of common sense.

Your logic in supporting what is going on is very flawed !!!!

I certainly wanted a change but what is happening so quickly and so insidiously is going to be with this country for many many years and I am not simply speaking of the deficit !

I do not believe in supporting any administration because I want change and it does not matter what the change is.

Read Alinsky (President Obama's hero) and he will show you that is EXACTLY what radicals prey on and I did not make any of that up !
