Some of those were amusing. My great uncle Robert might have written some of those under other names. Mean the books. We lost him to suicide in 1992. He did have the decency to drive his car to the funeral home and took his life there with a pistol. He was my most frequent pen pal from 1976-1992. He thought my 224 613 Project such as it was back in 1992 (without the 613 number yet which I acquired late 1992 from the University of San Francisco Health Sciences Campus 17 week study) was a hopeless endeavor. I did talk with him a lot from 1976 onward about my failures at finding practical information in libraries starting with my visit to the Washoe County Library Central Library in downtown Reno, Nevada of February 28, 1976. Very beautiful library.

Does not matter much to me who or who not Rickey D is now.

Sounds like your uncle was a very special guy. I’m sure the funeral home employees were appreciative of his foresight. [emoji6]

Maybe the clients too, perhaps he spoke to them.

He did make a mess of the car and he could have gone and lived with my older brother or even with us. His suicide broke my older brother up quite a bit. As all of us. He had a quite painful disease and had not wanted to be a burden. He had been the son of a railroad lawyer and dropped out of law school so we had that in common when I quit BYU Law School after 10 days in 1982. But then I went back in 1986 to the U of MN after getting the MA from the University of Denver.

He liked the story of putting his life up as bail for a friend in Costa Rica and then the friend left Costa Rica so he had to too. He was fluent in Spanish with a son by one of these ladies in Mexico.

I sometimes detoured to Tempe, AZ on my way various places to visit him. He liked to hang out near Arizona State University but the landlord raised his rent on his garage apartment so he was out looking for new digs with that disease.

He made some of his money writing rag novelettes. Very little though.

I did check out the libraries in the Phoenix area while there visiting Robert for materials to help survivors/victims of crimes.

My parents lived in Scottsdale, AZ for two years or so while I was working at Information Access Company in Belmont, CA. So they saw a lot of Robert as well.

Of course it's easy to find their real name...when someone like Talt gives out so much personal information.

It's then also simple to find that persons address (and many other things)...once you have their name.

What IS a big deal, is when someone like RickeyD/Wiotte then drives to the address, notes the cars parked in the driveway and makes a post about it...implying a personal threat.

Which is why RickeyD was banned.

Hopefully, you're not like that.

I even know of creepers who have used their previous LEO contacts, to stalk poster's to find out who they are in real life...simply because they constantly put the stalker/lowlife scumbag in their place.
