Well, you and your Right Wing Reactionaries are going to be getting in plenty of posting time during the next 8 years when you will have to be saying "Madam President".
If that happens be sure to keep your check book handy so you can help support the very insightful "share the wealth strategy", unless you are quite possibly one we will be supporting????

Now which one of you "Obama is responsible for the downfall of America" would like to argue with actual facts such as this?"

I am anxious to hear the first person stand up and say that their investments and savings were better when Bush left office, than they are now. LOL

Obama does get much of the credit for the raise of the markets. The economy has been so anemic under his watch that the Fed has had to leave interest rate at near zero levels for the last several year in an effort to stimulate economic growth.

Investors in search of higher returns than those offered through fixed-income securities have had no other option than to accept greater risk in the equity markets in search of those higher returns. And, as money continued to flow into the markets, the indicies continued to rise.

So, I guess we need to thank Obama for seven years of a sluggish economy and the ensuing raise in the markets perpetuated by the Fed's historically low Fed fund rates.

Paid for with $10 TRILLION of new debt. Interest rates are low so the government can pay the interest on $20 TRILLION of debt. The interest payments are over $500,000,000,000, $500 billion a year.

Let's see:

Still record high food stamps
Record high percentage of those that left the job arena
doubled the national debt

Second bubble getting ready to burst

Goodbye America, hello Greece.

...and how is your pension and 401k doing? Your house value is doing mighty good, too, I bet.

Have you converted all of your assets into gold ingots and have them buried in your backyard?

I actually saw one of those ads in the USA today last week for "Trump Dollars". They were the .999 pure silver coins with a picture of Trump on it. Great souviener of a Wackadoodle election year!

Greece has/had backup...the EU to bail them out. It's just plain...goodbye America. Hello 3rd world cesspool. More minorities than whites being born now, white's are already the minority in new school registrations. They're breeding us out of our country.

Yeah, low interest rates necessary to stimulate a weak economy will do that.

It is the case of fitting an issue into a measure that in fact would have taken place no matter who is in office.

Just go back and research the trending of the market over the past 75 years. It is nothing but an ever eupwards trend.

I am sure there is a chart around showing who was president at the time. And is the extent of their contribution to the progress of the markets....they were in office at the time!!!

It reminds me of coaching when the kids were little. Whenever we won, parents would brag how this kids outdone themselves. The coaches gave them all the credit to.

But when we lost: it was the coaches fault. The coaches would laugh at that.
