Even if you don't like Jon Stewart or The Daily Show, there is a piece worth watching. It's from his 9/3/08 show re Sarah Palin and the Gender Card. It features Karl Rove, Bill O'Reilley, Sean Hannity, Dick Morris, and Nancy Pfotenhauer (McCain Sr. Policy Advisor) with comments they shared before Palin's nomination and after. If you go to the show's site you'll easily find it.
Today, you can't say things on television that you don't want brought up later.
