"His tone echoed remarks he made back in 2011, during the height of his crusade to prove that President Obama was not an American citizen. When pressed about whether his position would alienate the millions of black voters who overwhelmingly supported the president, Trump argued that he has a "great relationship with the blacks." Besides referring to African-Americans as if they were an inhuman monolith, he seemed to imply at the time that the only reason they had embraced Obama's candidacy was their shared heritage.
This was not a case of just one malapropism gone awry. A 1991 book by John O'Donnell, who once served as president of Trump's hotel and casino in Atlantic City, alleged that Trump once vented that he hated "black guys counting my money" and argued that "laziness is a trait in blacks." Instead of disputing these quotes, Trump reportedly said in a 1997 Playboy interview that "the stuff O'Donnell wrote about me is probably true." Although he did also refer to O'Donnell as a "loser" and someone he barely knew." Trump'''s History Undermines New Outreach to Black Voters - NBC News |

"This long history is important. It would be one thing if Trump made just a few racist remarks; one, two, or even three of these types of comments might just show a bad speaker who’s seriously racially insensitive, not necessarily a full-blown racist. Maybe even on the campaign trail, Trump is just an opportunist, saying things he doesn’t really believe to rile up voters.
But when you take all of Trump’s actions and comments, a clear pattern emerges — one that suggests that bigotry is not just campaign opportunism on Trump’s part but a real element of Trump’s personality, character, and career." Donald Trump’s long history of racism, from the 1970s to 2016, explained - Vox |

And what would Trump actually do? Build a wall in Chicago around the ghettos?

It certainly may be politics in Chicago that lends to the killings but since any worry or comments about those killings were totally absent from this forum for years, I must assume your post as following Trumps lead....an insensitive, uninformed attempt to play politics with tragedy. |

Crime in Chicagoland -- chicagotribune.com And look WHERE most of the killing are...in the black areas. Even in the non-black areas blacks murder more than others. They're stupid and they're violent...we need to decrease their numbers not encourage more. Now SHOOTING victims number almost 3000, again it will surpass last years total and we'll have 3 months to go. Shootings -- Crime in Chicagoland -- chicagotribune.com Again, the shooting are in black areas, done mostly by blacks. HOW can you people always defend them? They act like violent animals. They ARE animals. Chicago isn't even the MOST violent black area. How Chicago’s Crime Rates Compare To The Rest Of America: Not Bad, But Not Great << CBS Chicago It's ALWAYS the blacks who are ultra violent. Always! Again, WHY would anyone want more of them? Why would anyone want them living near them? Wouldn't the world be a better place if it was all like the villages? White is wonderful. White places are wonderful. WHY aren't black places? It's ALL white peoples fault? We hold them back? Then we must be Gods compared to them to have so much control over their destiny. MORE proof we're NOT equal. |
