Well you acknowledged Mattis was one of the most respected men at the pentagon, not the only man...

Maybe one of the other most respected men at the pentagon wants the job if Mattis does not...no big deal now!

Get a job, purchase and move into your own house, financially support lazy opinionated jerks with the taxes they take out of your pay check - and then come back and tell me my attitude is not up to your standards. Until then, your not qualified to make that statement!

If Mattis resigns because of this we are all in big trouble.

If dems don't vote for the waiver, Mattis will be back on permanent retirement. Schumer better negotiate a good deal for providing the votes.

Do you never get at least uneasy with 100% predictability on making up an excuse for this person ? And you NEVER defend with facts...you simply pontificate as if YOU saying it makes it so. Calling out as liars, Barbara Starr and Washington Post by simply dismissing them.

You really feel pretty good about yourself.
The most astounding part of your highlighted sentence, is the fact that not only are you absolutely correct...but he has yet to exhibit even an inkling of why he is so high on himself.

Long-winded, false diatribes with no basis in facts, are still false, regardless of how long they are...or how much time he takes writing them.

Unless of course he is impressed with his own cut/paste plagiarism, use of fake news and an inability/unwillingness.....to cite proof of even simple statements that he's made and expects others to just believe.

It's simply baffling.

Just would like someone at Tapatalk to quote some of these posts so we can see who is saying what.

And I am not a huge fan of Barack Obama and even much less so than Joe Biden. Good riddance to Biden. He is part of what is very wrong with DC. A Cheshire Cat as Clint Eastwood pointed out in 2012. A wind bag blowing with whatever is popular in DC so he can keep on playing the political game. Nor am I a big fan of Bill nor Hillary Clinton. But I sure like both far more than what I have seen of Donald J. Trump so far.
You don't need Tapispeak to know who is posting. Wow, for someone that brags about their education, you don't have much common sense or ability. I am not going to tell you how to know who is posting, because I enjoy laughing at you liberals that seem to be the only ones not able to deal with this, without help. Some day, you all are going to find out that there won't be anyone there to "assist" you and that you will have to deal with life on your own, with your own wit.

I am linking a lot of articles. Trumpff is definitely upset with this and "fighting" certainly covers the kind of arguments he is having with Mattis about these picks.

I wish someone would help me out so I could identify who this person who keeps attacking me?? Would someone who uses Tapatalk help me out? Quote his posts so I can see who it is. He certainly is fighting with me over a variety of issues. There is no quibble about that. Except he knows who I am and I only have a hint at who this might be. Quite a disadvantage.

And I call out racist posts when they are racist. Any one can criticize Obama's policies and not be seen as a racist. You are the liar in this regard. I have criticized Obama myself in the past. Anyone who reads these boards know what racist posts I mean. They are very easy to spot.
Help me, help me. I've fallen and I can't get up.

I have a pretty good idea who it is now. I am surprised it is this person. A previous poster said it was him and it is.

Kind of like at the end of Bush's Presidency.
YOu mean like all those people that will not admit to voting for Obie? I have yet to see one Democrat admit it. They are just as ashamed of him as the rest of us.

I voted for both Bushes and I voted for Romney and McCain. AND I DID NOT VOTE FOR OBIE. I listened to what he campaigned on and said "NO WAY!" He turned out to be just as bad as I knew he would, only my heroes the Republican congress kept him somewhat governored.

Political forum actually began, I think, in 2007..prior to that all posts were on main board.

I am now an independent, and my Republican Party always stood for fiscal responsibility and spoke of character but no longer. It appears that neither matter any longer.

You try to sound informed, but refusing to acknowledge the legion of lies from Trump, and all easily verified, casts doubt in exactly what you do know.

My vision is surely not blurred. Fact is, as much as I thought I knew about Trump, I spent countless hours of reading about him. I shared most of them on here, I have shown with HIS OWN WIRDS, how he almost daily just makes things up.

I said in here a few times that I hoped he realized the responsibility, but he is showing himself to be exactly what I and others thought....a man who has never ever done one single thing for his country, who does not comprehend what that means, continues to lie, and remarkably is showing how he really feels about this country. And, even with all of that, I would stomach his lack of morals if I could even get some bit of reassurance that his lack of ability to verbally attack Russia or Putin...both crimals and criminal state...but easily attacks our country, BUT he does not trust Americans enough to be transparent.

I go by factual records..,his in the past and present.

I am not a democrat, cannot stand Clinton, have been outspoken in my opposition to Obama policies on this forum, so your impish little remarks hold no water.whatsoever. You will find no posts from me, or actually many at all, about this election..EXCEPT POSTERS WHO WORSHIP AT TRUMPS FEET AND ACCEPT WHAT HE SAYS NO MATTER HOW UNTRUE.
So, you won't admit to voting for CLinton?

Republicans need eight or nine democratic votes to get the waiver for Mattis to be able to run, so what does Trump do? He calls minority leader Chuck Schumer a clown.
