We have the answer already, if an employer hires an illegal, he gets a large fine and possibly prison. No company would be able to say, we will pay the fine but we will not admit guilt. Without a job, the alternative is to go back across the border. Someone in the company has to be responsible for the hiring. The repubs and democrats are both guilty of not enforcing this law.

You are obviously thinking of the instance many months ago when a drunk ex-Marine crossed into Mexico with weapons in his car and was held for some time in Mexican prison.
You are so naive. You do not have a clue as to how Americans are treated in Mexico. You will probably base your vast knowledge of Mexico on a trip to Cancun.

What are you, a bigot or a racist? Really, Redneck??? I bet you are a closet racist also. The "N" is not too far from your lips, I'm sure.

How about the daily camera views showing lines of people coming across at night.

So is it OK that only 60% of all coming are doing so illegally? Of course not.

The wall does not fix the problem. It is a neccessary start that sends the message, the open door policy is no more.

Next the boarder patrol needs to be directed to enforce the laws on immigration currently on the books. No paper work or wrong paper work turn around and hit the road.

Visa is expired? Get ready because to be checked upon and sent back when found.

One the boarders are closed and secured and the existing laws enforced we can determine what to do about the illegals that have lived here illegally for many years. They cannot remain in illegal status. That does not mean deport automatically. It means a determination to be made on what it takes to remain.

Those who are arguing aginst the wall are unfortunately victims of the partisan vote pandering offense.
I hear what you are saying about the wall. If the Democrats agree that the wall has to be completed first, they know that there will never be a second step. How do they know this? There was a Senate bipartisan bill that gave the Republicans a wall, and addressed the illegals in this countries. It never hit the floor in the House, because of the Hastert Rule. The state of politics has gone way down hill since then.

Given the current state of the Trump's constant noise with the other Republicans hopefuls following suit about immigration, the Republicans only solution is to deport all illegals. You don't stir up this much hate, and think that you can walk away from it.

It wasn't me that corrected your border/boarder. The correction was uncalled for given comment that followed.

So, let's make this clear as glass. There are some that do not want to enforce Constitutional law, and others that do. Laws means something to some folks and nothing to others. Deporting criminals (illegals) is too hard, so therefore it shouldn't be attempted. Because if you can't get them all, why bother, right? So, even though other presidents have deported illegals, we shouldn't attempt it, even though we have improved technology. Ok, I have it.

Now, one more question for anyone what might like a challenge. Why do we allow employers a pass when they hire illegals? They are breaking the law. Why do certain states provide drivers licenses to illegals? They are breaking the law. Am I wrong in assuming that there is a certain class of (NON) citizens that are allowed benefits that an American born citizen does not? I would never hire someone that told me that some task was too hard/difficult.

So, Trump who has built many towering buildings says he can build a wall around the border, and who is it that says he can't? Given the money, I could build a border wall.

What happened to the "CAN DO" attitude of old America?

Maybe you're right. We can put in some golf courses, rec centers and patio homes on our side and sell them to the over 55 crowd. I hear the weather is warm.

Is it a fence or is there a concrete one?
