I really don't understand the liberal and far left's scorn and contempt for intelligent, conservative women. What is it that scares them so badly?

Many liberals and especially the far left consider themselves elite folks and if you dont agree with them they will call you stupid !!! Been that way for a number of years.

Kinda hard to take this seriously ....have you heard this woman talk? But take Sarah Palin, for example, she was interviewed by GMA's Robin Roberts. They were talking about Palin hunting so Sarah defended herself by saying I would never hunt for fur or fashion. The problem was off to Sarah's left was a bear skin rug with its head still attached.

You can't make this stuff up.

I sure Sarah Palin meant "solely". If she or her family did indeed kill the bear in question, do you have any information that she didn't use the meat?

Also, if someone is saying something you totally disagree with, do you deride the person on that criteria? Or do you just find her accent distasteful?

We all have prejudices against political figures we don't agree with, and I think you're letting yours show.

The liberals, who've been suffering some huge political setbacks lately, believe that the American public who've dismissed them are too stupid for their own good. These same Americans have been supporters of the "new Republican" standard bearers such as Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin and Jim Demint, so it's natural for the liberals, through their media outlets, to denigrate these people and tear them down and try to silence them.

You come up with supposed stupid comments by conservatives and I can come back with Joe Biden, Charlie Rangel, Harry Reid, Al Gore and many many more who've said some truly ridiculous things.

Do we really need to get petty?

When will you liberals let go of Palin ? I am not going to defend her, but she holds no public office and has no authority and it is always about Palin (Fear maybe ??)

The point is that the thread was sarcasm aimed at Bachmann, NOT PALIN...the president of the United States has misstated the number of states in the union that he presides over....the vice president would need ten threads to discuss all his gaffes and you always, continually hone in on this woman. During the campaign, you tore apart her entire family...let it be.

MACRO's comment was a good one...it does seem like the left will attack any woman who speaks out. I have a news flash for you COLOGAL....if you start on Pelosi, Boxer and and of course Rep Sheila Jackson Lee, those who want to bomb on liberal women would need more than 24 hours, and they are actually elected officials.

Let Palin alone until she runs for something or if you want to criticize, criticize things she says on policy and government...that would be fair !

Good one Cologal. In my humble opinion, Palin doing a Reality Show has Blown any chance of her being considered as a serious Political contender. But has increased her chances of becoming the next Barbara Walters.

First of all I didn't deride her in anyway. I merely posted a clip of an interview in her own words.

As for this:

You come up with supposed stupid comments by conservatives and I can come back with Joe Biden, Charlie Rangel, Harry Reid, Al Gore and many many more who've said some truly ridiculous things.

You are absolutely right they have said stupid things...I will not say that you personally have done this but the comments that were made about the Speaker of House in the recent certainly were much more out of line than mine here.

Petty.....not me. Why the over reaction?

You constantly try to hang me with a label.....does that make you feel better?

Palin is a former governor, former VP candidate and certainly interjected herself in the political scene this fall. I will semi quote something you once posted about me.

Does anybody believe that Sarah Palin is NOT running for president in 2012?

I do not think the "liberals" have any scorn or contempt for intelligent, conservative women. However, the women you mentioned are Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin. Why not toss in Sharon Angle and Christine (I am not a witch) O'Donnell to that pack, too? Conservative, yes. Intelligent, NO.

In a recent Gallup poll, 82% of Republican voters said that Palin was not their presidential choice in 2012.

Our President's "sterling qualifications" are...Well, he is NOT Sarah Palin.

More people agree with her and Palin than agree with your hero, Obi-Wan Obama.

tbugs - you got that right! i think it is the first thing you have typed here that i can agree with!

and what's more, he is beginning to sound like he is the one who thought about the need for compromise! i'm surprised he doesn't choke on that word every time he says it!
