The media won't tell us this. Turns out Kaepernick is engaged to a Muslim woman who is a BLM activist. In the off season he converted to Islam. She appears to be radicalizing him by looking at his Instagram and other accounts. He is a VERY angry man and should be watched. His actions now are making sense!! ISLAM is EVIL and spreading like wildfire!!! OUR flag means everything to Americans’. FREEDOM. Don't like it. LEAVE!!!

This is the ending of a letter by Allen West that has been circulating via e-mail.

I didn't bother to do a fact check because 1) wonder what the motivation is behind their responses 2) if not true colin sure does do a great imitation of what is described above
Wrap him in a Do Not Tread On Me flag and put him on a plane to Syria!!.......don't forget the wife.

Each generation's veteran's have different view. As our society values deteriorate, so does the pride in the county. Today's veteran in the trenches come from different standard of pass. So I can see why some would support his view. Society and the government view has changed. This IMO started with the Vietnam war. A war we got sucked into which IMO we should of never set foot in the country.

There percentage of veterans these days that are dissatisfied with or government pass 20 years and low percentage don't feel connected with the patriotic pride of earlier generations. Basically from mismanagement and promises broken with the mass force (the enlisted) officers as politicians still reap all the benifits and leave crumbs for the majority. IMO the only vets I see suffering are enlisted.

How about the attitudes towards the military in many movies and TV shows? M.A.S.H. for instance. The uptight rule loving obsessive-compulsives were not very well liked not by the audiences and not by the characters in the movie or TV show.

And I really doubt if many veterans from WWII were all that enamored of the patriotism put out by the military PR systems. They fought for their brothers in arms not the flag or the politicians waving them.

You are entitled to an opinion but do believe you either a) stand corrected or b) do not understand the all encompassing aura of the flag.
