It doesn't matter. An automatic is a weapon that fires multiple times with one pull of the trigger, period. Bump firing is still pulling the trigger multiple times to make it look like an automatic. You lose accuracy with that technique. A little better way to bump fire is to use a large rubber band. You get a little bit more accuracy with that technique. You don't have to hold the weapon so loosely that way.

It's an impressive gimmick. It looks and sounds cool, but you won't hit anything doing it.
