Why Should They Listen To Us?

We're not going to convince one another on this one, so let's just agree to disagree.

The Europeans, who openly tolerate an Italian president who openly participates in sex parties, has a relationship with an underage girl and stands accused of multiple incidents of illegal business behavior...or the French president who openly has affairs with women other than his wife...or the man who served as head of the IMF until he was accused of raping a hotel maid and who now may still run for the French presidency...aren't the least bit influenced by whether Tim Geithner filed taxes or employed an illegal immigrant. (Remember, Geithner has never been legally accused of any of these incidents.) What is far more destructive to U.S. "moral authority" is our dysfunctional government, which I might add has prevailed under the control of both our political parties over the last decade or so. That's what is so obvious to the rest of the world...and that's what should be so obvious to all of us.
