The first weather satellite was launched in the 1960s. It is dishonest to make any accurate claims about temps before then

The answer is vital to our response. If it is a scant 1%, then nothing we do matters. If it is 99%, then destroying lives and causing suffering is required by all nations. Even the ones the Paris Accords exempted, China and India, have to make huge changes So how much is it? I have searched hard and found no answers other than morons saying100%, which is obviously a lie |

I am strongly considering an electric car (toy) to use around here. I hope Elon really starts selling the little roadster next year. When he shot the one into space I knew I liked him and bought a bunch of stock, what a lucky buy.

It does seem strange that .04% of CO2 in the atmosphere can have such a big effect on Global Warming, BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT IS JUST WHAT HAPPENS. Simply Google - CO2 makes up WHAT % of the atmosphere - and there is the answer. It is pretty complicated, so I will give just the little that I know......O2 and nitrogen make up 99% of the atmosphere, but they have ZERO effect on earth heating. CO2 and water vapor make up most of the remaining 1%. And they are capable of absorbing HEAT.

We have temperature data only back to 1850. But that does NOT matter because it is only the last 15 years that is meaningful because of the rapid increase for THAT period. Goggle world population from 1500 until today and notice the graph explodes upward around about 1950. Then google Global Temperature. It takes some time to find a graph with a recent horizontal axis, but if you take the time you will see about the same graph as the rapid increase in the recent 15 years.

Talk about falling short ... look at how bad wind energy fails at serving it's customers in the UK -- only 2% service at this posting ... Wind power production as a percentage ... EV owners won't be happy.

What is causing the "rapid increase" when CO2 is rising at a nearly constant rate?
