That great philosopher Yogi Berra once said “it ain’t over until it’s over”. The so called “Hurricane Season” still has months to go yet.

I don’t know what your reply would've been, but I wish I did. It would have been a great zinger, I'm sure. 😄😀😁
You did hi-lite "Shakey, I don't do drugs". I don't know why. Shakey is my nickname for anyone who gives me an injection or draws my blood. It's a private joke I use with myself. And, at my age and condition, I am alive thanks to medical science, from drugs/medication, chemo, surgery, radiation, doctors, nurses, etc.
As for my post, I was having an "off" day and decided not to add my five cents (inflation), so "sos" (same old s---), the "warming" debate(?), with the following comments to indicate extreme pain.
Sure wish the penalty would ease up when we are just having a little good natured fun with each other so we could share some of the good jokes.

Why are the oceans cooler this summer compared to last summer?

Sunspots, it's always the sun spots. . .
I have a correlation graph, and have tried to post it, but posting pictures never works anymore.
oh, and since the temperatures are never the same year after year, randomness. ..

maybe Milankovitch orbital cycles? since the entire solar system is a free floating gravitational system moving through outer space, maybe there is a case of the wobbles? everything wobbles. . . with the number of spinning cycles, tilts, rotations, non stationary planets with occasional retrograde behavior, how can everything not wobble?

The decreased activity in the Atlantic is a result of sand storms from Africa migrating out over the Atlantic resulting in a change in the atmospheric conditions that enable formations of storms off the coast.

There are weather links on FB....one is Florida Weather "something" and then the FoxLocal weather (Noah Berggren). I follow both. Noah had a great explanation yesterday. He said the gulf waters are unusually warm and after these 7 days we could have some really extroidinary stuff going on. As someone else mentioned---maybe google too can give you answers you're seeking.

When hurricane Ian hit Florida in September 2022 the news was “all in” on man made global warming.

I went to the National Hurricane Center historical tropical storm page. Guess what? It had been 11 months since a Hurricane hit the Lower 48. (Hurricanes.. not tropical storms).

First of all count your blessings that there aren't any! Hurricane season starts in Florida in September and ends in November.
