SHINE
SHINE acts as a free program serving the health insurance needs of elders, and is sponsored by the Florida department of Elder Affairs and local Area Agencies on Aging. It acts as a service educating seniors on Medicare, and have counselors present each first and third Wednesday of each month from 9 to 11:50 a.m. at the Eisenhower Recreation Center, 3560 Buena Vista Blvd. Additionally, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the first and third Fridays of each month at Chula Vista Recreation Center, 1011 Rio Grande Ave.; 9 to 11:50 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at Lake Miona Recreation Center, 1526 Buena Vista Blvd.; and lastly, 2 to 4 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at Lady Lake Public Library, 225 W. Guava St.
