My 12 years old Yamaha get 49 to 52 MPG checked it several times plus it has low 19K miles but it not basic cart, I have upgraded seats, lights, dash, and tires. Been just reliable as my 12 year old Honda. Both still run like new. But, I am stickler about maintenance.

I had old electric club car, ok for putting around close to home. Flimsy front end that bushing worn out, brakes drums fill up with dust, make noise, and not crisp stopping. Seat was hard and uncomfortable. I was alway fighting corrosion from boiling batteries during charging, still have spot on garage floor plus stunk up garage when charging. Don’t know about newer models club cars maybe they are better? Nor do I know anything about newer Yamaha either?

The major problem with Cadillac is it’s just a GM car. Still using basic off the shelf GM parts that when you sit in the car, you see the basic crapnthey put in their ‘luxury’ cars. Corvette has the same off the shelf problem.

The difference in Club Cars and Yamaha is intention. Club Cars are made with golf courses in mind first, and Yamaha with Personal use first. They’re both fine carts.

As far as accusations of TV taking advantage, that’s just ludicrous. TV Golf Cart is an excellent place to buy carts, they’re convenient and have a great selection. After purchase they’re there for you too. They even supply loaners while your cart is being serviced so that you are not without fun cart transport. Sure shop around you can find a cart cheaper, but you’ll give up the convenience. For some of us the convenience is worth it.
