When people go through a "stop" sign and are onto a street crossing, they can be ticketed. The street is not part of the golf trail. Hence three points will be assessed if ticketed. Same as if you were in car and have a license

Your point about not having a license is a good one and I don't know the answer to that issue. I was behind an older man today who was doing 10 MPH and he never bothered to stop at several stop signs.

Just sayin.......

BTW - Stop signs are not suggestions.

Technically you do not need a driver license to drive a golf cart.
If you don't have a drivers license, it certainly can't be put on your license. You don't need a drivers license in order to drive a golf cart. With those facts, if you have a drivers license I would think a ticket would not be put on your license while driving a golf cart. Perhaps I'm "missing" something here?

Not sure what the rule is for those with a license but for kids it goes like this: LEO sees a juvenile under 14 driving a cart and the cart will be pulled over. The child's picture is taken and an immediate temporary license is issued. The child then receives a ticket which is forwarded to the child's home state. When it is time for that precious learner's permit, it is denied and no license until age 18 because of a moving violation. This happened to my friend's grandson who was sitting on grandpa's lap. Gramps got nothing but a lecture. Bet the kid doesn't talk to grandpa when he hits 15.5.

Not sure what the repercussions are for an adult who has no license but I have seen police reports where someone was arrested for driving on a suspended or revoked license.
