Village Discount Golf Car has a bean bag type that seals most of the leakage.

A couple of options:

a.) As suggested in post #8, contact Carts & Clubs as they use a trim seal at the bottom of their windshields that does a great job.

b.) If you want to venture down the DIY path, check this web site out: Trim Lok - #1 Source for Plastic and Rubber Trims and Seals or perhaps go to a NAPA store to see what types of seals/gaskets they might have available or have access to.

Great observation mrssal, we're talking about golf carts!
Cold air on a golf course isn't a problem. You have the sides open anyway. The problem is when you're cruising along at the allowed 19.6 mph on a cold January morning, it gets mighty chilly. As Shimpy says, you need some ventilation but you want to be comfortable too. I find that even when using my Coleman heater unless I block the air around the windshield it doesn't actually get warm. With some of the breeze blocked off it gets comfortable but it would be nice to find something that looks good and is semi-permanent to control the air flow.

The garden hose idea above is a lot cheaper if you want to take the time to do it. It sounds like time well spent.

Spray foam. I'm not sayin' it will be pretty, but it will stop the air leaks. Depends how bad you want to stop the air.

We bought our 2012 Yamaha Gas cart from Carts and Clubs in Ocala. We have yet to find any air leakage around the windshield or enclosure. They build their carts so that this is not an issue and it was one of the main reasons we purchased from them and not from The Villages. We have been through our first winter in this cart and couldn't be more pleased with how snug we were.

can anyone tell me how to use a pool noodle on the golf cart to cut down drafts -- I don't love the air blowing in my face as I have bad allergies -- every time I try to fix the noodle between the windshield and the body -- it won't stay put -- know that "I am just a girl" -- (john's girlfriend) but would love to accomplish this

Who was the dealership where you bought your cart? What did they tell you? Is this normal on a brand new golf cart?
