Not at all so far....was a little hazy one night when the wind shifted to being from the east. Most of the fires are well south or southeast of here. Prevailing winds, and they have been prevailing latetly, have been from the west.

Thanks for the update 07. Can't wait to reach the bubble. Mr Samhass said he would have taken off today in the rain if we didn't have dinner plans for this evening. Guess we'll start early in the AM..in the rain. I'm sick of rain.

Nonie, same here. Jersey to get rain tomorrow and showers on Thursday. I think next week the weather breaks and we go into the 70's. Once again no Spring. Winter to Summer. Stinks doesn't it.

Nonie, we are having a problem with the buyers attorney review. Something concerning inspections of the homes back in 1999 when they were built. It is between the State and the Township. Lawyers are involved. We were to clear the review by Thursday, now we are on hold. Who knows. We can only hope this is just a speedbump. Will keep you all informed. Boy it is not easy getting to PARADISE!!!

PS: Sam & Mr. Sam have a very safe trip!

We just spoke with our son who is now somewhere in Virginia. He said the sun is shining, driving is easy and the scenery is beautiful. They are on I 81.

Thanks Nonie and everyone. I can't imagine what St. Joseph is thinking right now? I guess he thought his job was over and he earned a spot in the curio cabinet. Not to be as of yet, life sure comes at you fast!

This is our third and final day for attorney review and as of 1:30pm we have heard nothing. No news is good news?

3:30pm Red, still no news....Frustrating, I'm trying not to call anyone and force the issue as it might change what little luck I have left. I am not happy with St. Joseph right now. He still has to close the deal!

Johnny my heart goes out to you. I know how it feels to be seated right next to the phone waiting for a phone call.

Attorneys from what I hear do not call back when they say they will. You may have to continue to call your attorney.

When you buried St. Joseph you probably only requested a buyer so I am not to sure if St. Joseph had anything to do with this bump.

I will pass on to you something I learned a long time ago - and no I do not like this saying all the time - Things do not always happen on man's schedule but on God's schedule.

And the saying that seems to fit me to a T is "God please grant me Patience and :edit: I want it right now."

As you can guess I am not always a very patient person - guess that is why I can identify with your feelings so well.

Go for a walk, get fresh air and look at all the beauty around you. While you are walking think of all the positives in your life including the Chat Pack or Peeps.

Wish I could suggest more.

Thanks Kathie, HB, Red, Nonie and everyone for walking this last mile with me. It is now 5:00pm and no word. HB you are right, I can't blame St. Joseph, he did bring a buyer. I will now go and sip a Scotch and water and wait a little longer as the day just ended. Hopefully there is correspondence going on in the background. Will keep you all updated. It sure is good to go through this with so many friends pulling for you. Barbara sends her thanks also.

Fingers crossed that all is well. It would seem that if there were problems, you would have been called almost immediately. It's when it doesn't matter that attorneys are lax about getting in touch with you (unless they're doing a ton of research that they can tack onto the bill).

Sorry to report the clients backed out of the contract. Timely information was not obtained and or passed on. There is a lot of blame to pass on but that is not going to correct the situation. I feel it happened because God wanted it to happen. I don't ask questions of him but know he will make it right. We are back to square one and we will just have to make believe this never happened and go forward. We are not hurt, we are still healthy and we still own a home in TV. It may just take a little longer to get there. Thanks again for the thoughts ;)

Oh Johnny and Barbara I am so sorry for both of you and all of us. We will have to wait longer to meet both of you. :'(

Johnny and Barbara does this mean I have to go back to France to light more candles? The candles were lit in a well known cathedral, I will have to go now to the smallest church and light candles. ;D

If you get into a funk just think of all the people whom you have never met here in TV who are rooting for you and saying prayers. That is one of the more important things we all have in life - Chat Pack and Peeps. Then of course there is the Great Fumar, Muncle, Handie, Peech, RCT, Pete, F16 (he has been where you are now) and the marching band goes on.

That news just made my heart sink. I am so sorry Johnny. The gloves come off now though. No more Mr. Nice Guy. I hope you can get those responsible to fix the situation asap so it won't trip you up again. Bottom line we all just change our prayers for you and Barbara from "closing" prayers to "selling" prayers. It will happen.

Johnny and Barbara, I guess I wasn't reading the right posts. I didn't know you were so close to getting a sale. I'm so sorry. We haven't gotten as close as you and I pray it will happen soon. We've dropped our house another $10,000 and we have another open house on June 1. Please Lord and St. Joseph help Johnny and Barbara, us, and all the other people who want to get to TV to get a sale.

Johnny and Barbara - hope to see you in June. We will be there for only 5 days - hope the dates coincide with yours.

If they do we can all do a sell the house dance instead of a Freeze. Used to do dance when I was younger only then it was for snow so we could have the day off.
