Sorry to hear your news, Johnny. We will soon be in the "please God, let our house sell" mindset, too. Paul's job is going away, as of July 18th (closing the facility) - so we have decided to look at this as a great thing. WE GET TO MOVE TO TV sooner than planned!!! We will be in TV Sunday, for a 5 nite Lifestyle Preview. When we come home we'll get the house on the market ASAP. And, I guess, that's when the agony of waiting starts. So, please put us on your list for prayers for a quick sale!

Kathie :'( :'( :'( :'( We are going to miss lunch. Our flight from Phoenix doesn't arrive into Orlando until about 9 pm, then we have to rent a car. :( The mini van will be parked in the garage waiting for us.

We wanted to be at the luncheon. No matter how fast we travel crap crap crap crap we will miss all of you. :'( :'(

Will you hold lunch for us?

Well, Susan, I don't think Northwest charges per suitcase - yet - so we could just add another suitcase! I still think about all the fun you all had doin the Freeze! If we bring you along, will you organize another???????

In a heartbeat Marcia. We had such a good time doing the Freeze. Thing is though, I think that Northwest is charging for the second bag as of something like May 10th, and they are even talking about charging for the first bag. Horrifying! But, I think I can scrape together the $25.00.

PM me when you get back. It is ridiculous for us to live so close and not meet in person. Maybe dinner after work one evening or whatever.

Dear Friends,
I am finally back in the bubble. It was a long arduous drive with 3 delays on I-95. It is absolutely wonderful to be back. Thank you all for the wishes and prayers for our safe return trip. Somebody heard you!
Johnny, I feel sad about your disappointing experience. Just remember, there's a lid for every pot. You'll find your lid.
I can't believe how much our plants grew in 20 days. The weeds have enjoyed a renaissance without my presence.

Ronda, I'm not sure when it became the "bubble", but think about it..a perfectly encased little world..free from the cares of the "outside". Remember the boy in the bubble? It protected him from the world. TV is our answer to the bubble. As someone said "I live in my own little world. They know me here." It's a bubble filled with sunshine (mostly), love, friends, and fun. And R...you're in it!!!!!!!! :) :)

BTW, now that I'm back in the bubble, I will be making an effort to sell the house in Mallory.
If you know anyone looking for a 3 BR, 2 1/2 ba, 2 1/12 garage on a Championship golf course, please let me know. It is beautifully furnished. All you need to move in is a toothbrush.
I have literally hundreds of people lined up that wish to rent next season. I can't commit to any of them until I know if I have a buyer or not. If you know someone coming down to buy that won't be here full time right now, I have a list of those renters, including those that had it last season. They were incredible. Not even a water spot was left on the chrome. It rented at 3800.00 a month last season. It was built in 2006.

I love the idea of the "Bubble" but for some reason I am stuck on "Never"Never Land as in
Peter Pan.

It perfectly describes my feelings when I am in TV. I feel so young and alive and I never have to grow up if I dont want to. TV is my Never Never Land and I can be tinkerbell if I want to be.
I know I know groan!!! Sometimes I do get a little carried away! ;D

Welcome back Sam. wav Glad you had a safe trip. Oh, how I hate I 95, and I will have to travel it in August. Not looking forward to that part of the trip back to New Hampshire.

Wish you had brought some of those 8 inches of rain back to TV with you.

The rain yesterday sure helped, but we could use some more.

JohnnyM: I am so sorry about your house sale, and so impressed with your positive attitude. Inspiring. See you at the TOTV luncheon, old friends will be back and new ones arriving. Can't wait, we'll have lots of fun. ;D ;D

Call it what you will "bubble, never never land, home" it is all so amazing.
I wish I could find a word or saying to describe how it feels when you return to TV from "outside".
Elation, comfort, excitement, contentment, all those for sure.
I just know that even when I am gone for a day returning is always such a pleasure. How lucky we all are that we found TV, TOTV and all of the new friends we have made.

Nonie, your new avatar (which I know is your doggie Clara) is SO cute.
I know what you mean about being stuck in "Never Never Land" vs The Bubble. I have to daily remind myself that Canada is a beautiful place and that I am lucky to be alive and well, and financially secure.
That I have good friends here who I've known forever. And that whether I am in the Bubble or Never Land, I am still better off than 95% of the people in the world.

A month has gone by since I've left TV. Soon it will be time to pack for the cruise. In the meantime, I am determined to dance in the sunshine when I can, and curl up by the fireplace with a good book on the cooler days.

As Johnny said, we are living God's plan and we should make the most of every day.

I just received an interesting email from our village scribe. Seems a 6' gator is hanging out around our mailboxes. I hope he doesn't think he has found his bubble....a nice supply of well fed older adults! ;D

Totally agree. I left one of the most beautiful cities in the world and a state I truly loved. I left mountains and my beloved Yosemite. I left my friends of 30 years. I came to TV. I've made new friends that are as dear to me as my friends in the Bay Area. My cats are in kitty heaven as long as they can go on the lanai. My daughter is doing well, working and living on her own. I have yet to go a day in TV that something hasn't made me smile.

I am so greatful for my life, my friends and even that my business is starting to take off. Life isn't perfect but it is good. God truly is kind.
