Sam with you

JohnnyM - ironically on the Travel Forum I was politically incorrect also. I   . I referred to a he as she - now I will write s/he. It is hard to know by some names :dontknow: the gender of the person.

I did not think to go to their profile to look, and than I    even redder when I realized I knew who it was from Crisper's.

So from me to all of you where I have been politically incorrect  . Please accept.

Question - I know how to do s/he, wo/man is there one for him/her?

OMG - this is not the Political Forum - hope :cop: doesn't realize it.

Johnny, you know you're one of us. You created the sistah look and our movie avatars.
Like I said, you (like my husband) are very secure in your masculinity. You get this.. :#1:

Thanks Sam, I guess I was starting to feel a little insecure with this house thing going on. It's Okay, I'm back. You are all too good to me.

Johnny, you have the wonderful ability to get in touch with your "softer" side without anyone having any doubt you're all male. A wonderful trait. So, stay cool, hang tight and just be there, bruddah!!!

HB, I always liked shim for she/him.

Johnny, If you will only learn to play mah jong..........more men are doing it now. Again, it's those with enough testosterone to not care what the other guys say.

Happy Talk.....just returned to the TV bubble last night after a week 'up North'; after a year and a half, our house up there finally sold and we closed on it yesterday. Yippeee....what a relief to finally have that done and that chapter closed out. Although I wouldn't trade the happy times we've spent here in TV for the past 18 months for anything, the uncertainty of when (and sometimes if) the house would sell was nervewracking. Fortunately, we had friends/caretakers living in it and it was not a significant financial drain to carry both houses.

So, for JohnnyM, Scottke, Ouma, Peggy D, SusanandTom, KathieI, Mikark and all the others out there trying to sell a house to get to TV, it can (and will!!) get done. Keep the faith.

Life back in the bubble is good. It felt so wonderful to return to the Villages...clean air, golf carts, friendly people, nice house, etc -- this is indeed home. I don't plan to nor want to go anywhere else til the TOTV cruise in Sept. Life is good.

Happy, Happy

Last day of school...

Took all the 3rd graders (140 of them) into the hallway, played the Cha-Cha Slide as loud as my cd player would allow, and did the Cha-Cha slide with them!

Parents gathered round smiling and laughing while watching their children and ME get funky, clapping our hands, hopping, stomping, getting down low and cha-chaing altogether.

It was a fun morning and I felt good! The kids boarded the buses with windows down, huge smiles, big waves, and summer fun waiting.

I was smiling too...good way to end the year!

Today was so great. 90 degrees up north, hot and humid just like TV.

Took our first boat ride across the lake today, it was wonderful. I forgot how good it feels to be out on the water on a hot summer day. Life is good and my cup was almost full! No, I guess it was full!

Bright..... congrats on another year completed. What a great way for the year to end.It must have been a blast!!
It is teachers like you that the kids will remember with fondness, and parents who will thank their lucky stars for an educator that cares so much about their kids.

Priceless.

Johnny, Barbara will love mahjong. Ask Chels and Beady. I believe the ladies are addicted.
