Re: Chatters Talk: Happy or Sad
What did I win? :dontknow: :dontknow: Why would you cry over a forum? There must be other issues in your life that are weighing you down. I hope they are soon resolved for you.
Each day we receive is a blessing to be savored. Save your tears for those things that really deserve them...those things that matter. This chatter doesn't matter for diddly-squat.

Re: Chatters Talk: Happy or Sad
Did any of you look and Handies post on the spinning woman? that was pretty interesting. It was indeed a right brain/left brain exercise. I posted something I found on the net about it.
It was curious to me that in the AM my right brain was at work and in the PM it was the opposite. I wonder how that would translate to brains in the work place in terms of productivity. I find that fascinating.

Re: Chatters Talk: Happy or Sad
Interesting thoughts re workplace, Sam. I found that if I scrolled up to it was counter clockwise, clockwise when I scrolled down. Time of day hasn't seemed to affect it.
So, what did you find out? Inquirng minds (and nosy witches) want to know.

Don't worry Ronda, my left brain isn't working either. And my hubby's right brain isn't working, so together we probably make a perfect fit. Nuts and Nuttier! ;D

Re: Chatters Talk: Happy or Sad
Johnny and Barbara are out here but very busy getting their new house in order. Both were at Crispers but at 2pm and thought everyone had already left. They also have no computer with them so only pick up their emails at Savannah.

Topicop Alert :cop: :cop: :cop:
Sam, Gracie want to talk to you about Koi. For some reason, :dontknow: she is hijacking my Canadian luncheon thread with talk of fish. Not sure of the connection ... perhaps she is meaning to offer up her Koi as an appetizer for our Canadian luncheon.

Re: Chatters Talk: Happy or Sad
Bare, that is sheer sacrilege. These are koi. They are special. The baby koi I have now are alive because of me. Their Mom came in from Japan. I had a good idea of when she would spawn so I built a small rock walled pool in the pond. When she spawned and I saw a big male cover the eggs, I swooped in and gathered (some of) the eggs before they became fish food. I fed them boiled egg yolk after they hatched. We bonded. Koi are very social fish. They will eat from your hand. When they see you approach they come swimming up. They know a handout is at hand!
My pond is in Pa. I won't have one here. I don't wish to spend that much time on upkeep anymore.

Re: Chatters Talk: Happy or Sad
Sam this reminded me of my beloved black and tan cocker spaniel, Bubba Lou Cole. When Bouvier (my 16 yr old blind and deaf spaniel) gave birth every other pup was breach. Pup #1 was Bubba. He was still born. I ran around the house screaming and praying for help. Instinctly I covered his whole snout with my mouth and sucked! 2 times and Bubba Lou was born! Bouv had 7 pups. 4 breach. PS I have a surprise for you! I sketched your view from the avatar. I left a tree out as it would have been unbalanced and would loose its flow. 1 too many happy trees per Bob Ross!! LOL
