Default Comcast games

I received my latest bill from Comcast. (Phone, Internet, Cable, wireless). Not only did the bill increase $2 but there is a charge of $138.40 for "One time fee. PPV, usage (Non referring charges.) I have not been in TV for three months. Haven't used PPV. Anybody know what that is about?

I will call them on Monday. It must be a mistake

Could it be Pay per View? It isn't on my bill and we don't use it. Just a thought.

How long have you had the service, Tom?

My bill just arrived and there has been no increase in my fees right now. Some additional charge could be for an increase in rates for particular services. The PPV fee seems wrong and I don't have a clue why you should be charged $138. There are fees for set up for each service, phone, internet, telephone. Were you charged when these were originally installed? Could this be what's happened?

Must have had someone doing work at your house who watched some adult movies during lunch.

Talked to Comcast on Friday - phone, internet, HD Preferred XF and HD DVR will be 134.99 (begins with special price of $118 for year - $29.95 is what I was told would be the installation fee. We are scheduled to have it hooked up when we get there so I only have what I was told (asked for the person's name so I would have her to refer to). I am interested now to see what happens once it is installed. Let us know how you make out.

Like I said, I haven't been there in three months. Unless someone broke into my house and wacted a bunch of PPV movies. The bill must be a mistake. I'll straighten it out on Monday.

PPV charges are only applied when someone watches PPV movies or events. You would usually need a code/password to do that.
