Default Rubicon is telling stories

he just forgot!....or he owns the company....Come on rubicon, tell us the real story!
I' rather get root canal than deal with Comcast....But I must tell the truth, since I dropped Comcast
on everything EXCEPT internet, I have not had any problem with billing....Will wonders never cease!

I always ask for the retention department right a way. Saves some time. Also, Comcast records all of the calls. Be sure to note the time, date and name of comcast agent so the call can be retrieved if there is a dispute. It has helped me in the past.

We are moving to Village of Hillsborough next month. What options do we have for cable/internet/phone company? In Ohio we had a bundle with Time Warner, but I understand TW doesn't service The Villages. Is Comcast the only option? Any specific advice will be appreciated.

If you're in Hillsborough, you can get Brighthouse, which is almost identical to Time Warner, and has terrific customer service, as well as an office in Wildwood, so very close to your village. Comcast Infinity is cheaper, and has some cool features, but their customer service and 2 year contract makes us nervous to change. Brighthouse is unveiling a new bundle called Voyager on Sept. 15, so we're waiting to see what that's all about.

Some customers are happy with the service, not sure if "some" is really "few" but they do exist. Sounds like Rubi is one of them. I'll pass on the root canal.

Did you get your issues with Comcast taken care of? If not, Villages A/V has been a great help for us. We used them to set up cable install and internet hook up when we moved in. It was great to have a real live person (that I could understand) to deal with. Tom is the guy to deal with, and he is also a resident, so that was a bonus. Check it out if you're still in need. 352.388.1677

ANOTHER MIRACLE

And it happened right here in the Villages. A satisfied Comcast customer. There are only a very small handful scattered around the US out of millions of customers. Usually because they never had a problem where they were required to deal with them. There must be some king of reward available for finding one.

Remember all their ads talking about how great their service was? That was just a subterfuge to try and find one. And lo and behold he resides right here among us. Wonders never cease to amaze me.

If you need to return Comcast equipment you can take it to any UPS Store and they will pack and ship it at no cost to you.

I got a copy of tracking number so I could tell online that it was received. I printed out the UPS page that showed it was received.

Later I got an email from Comcast indicating they received my return and were processing it.
