Another vote for Jesse at JSR Trim. Received quotes from both JSR and Creative. Both very competent and highly qualified businesses. Creative promised to send out Mario to look at and quote a challenging area but no one ever showed up and Creative did not follow up. JSR was prompt, provided a quote they stood by, followed up, did an unbelievable job, cleaned the work areas afterwards and was much more competitive on his bid.

I have also used creative and they were reasonably priced and did a fantastic job. The moldings are beautiful. Have them coming back because we made the mistake of only doing the kitchen and living area. Looks so good we are doing the rest of the house. They also did our painting and it was great too. Michelle who is in the office is super.

Only one choice in my opinion, Creative Finish Carpentry, (352) 552-6555. You’ll often see their truck and trailer here in Yhe Villages. They’ve installed crown molding, window trim and cornices, and door casings and architraves (headers) in two of my houses. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I use Matt Gillespie. We've had him do crown moulding - painting - floors. He is awesome in the quality of his work - and his personal character. I don't use him because of his lower than typical pricing - that is just and extra benefit - but please - don't tell him I shared that part. Troy did our Crown in the Kitchen around the soffits for custom up-lighting 13 years ago. Still tight , no separation or cracking. Still very happy with his work. Len & Mary

Just make sure that whoever does the job, find out if the price includes caulking and painting.
Baseboards, crown etc are purchased from where ever and ARE PAINT READY.
Best thing to do is buy it yourself, paint it yourself in the garage, have it installed and have them caulk it for you OR caulk yourself.
