I used Matt Allums of Chatahoochie River Rock. He's come back every year for a resealing. It looks good but high maintenance.

I don't know whats up with Amy Newsom but I called her based on reviews from the Talk of the Villages. She did come out but told me I had to get the approval from ARC and the list of approved colors. When it came to making an appointment to finalize the deal she never showed up or called. That's a flag of sorts. It must be nice to be able to turn down work.

I have had experience with both paint and the liquid concrete applications. I would never never recommend anyone do the paint. The liquid concrete is far superior and lasts much loner. My favorite company is Florida Deck.

Del did our garage floor several months ago. Absolutely beautiful job. Very very neat, took extra precaution not to damage walls. He was on-time and price was very fair. Highly recommend him.

We used Cost-Less for our garage and lanai. They did a decent job but appointments meant nothing to them. They showed up whenever they felt regardless of the agreed upon schedule. The job, which should have taken about three days, ended up taking over two weeks. No complaint about the work, just the work habits.

We used Superior Concrete Design from a reference on TOTV and were very pleased with the work. Woody completed our driveway, walkway, lanai and epoxy garage floor battling the rain but not hurrying any of the processes. Would certainly recommend him.

Being a newbie, Florida is the first place where I've seen driveways being coated with either stain or other concrete materials and fancy designs. Up North alternatives were pavers or stamping of concrete when first poured. Both required some maintenance over time. I love the way the driveways down here look when new. I sometimes wonder if it's purely aesthetics, keeping up with the Jones, or is there real benefits to these driveway treatments which offset the initial and on-going expense. I came from a mini-farm with a long gravel driveway, so I'm just excited to have a concrete driveway.....
