It is amazing how some companies just feel entitled to our business. I found this attitude when dealing with Massey Services. They called several times, but when they did make a connection and an appointment, the attitude was not pleasant. How dare I ask questions concerning the need for this service. I made an appointment for them to come out between 8:30-9:30 a.m. I had another appt. at 7:30 that morning, so I hustled to be home in time. I was on time. They never showed!

A call to see how long I was expected to wait on them, received the same indignant attitude. "We can't find your appointment," was the summary of the conversation. Needless to say, I will find someone that wants to provide a service. Massey Services will never do any additional business in my household.

Maybe I will send them a bill for my time wasted waiting on them. The answer will be, "Oh, we never had an appointment." Bull!

We closed on our new construction, South of 466a, and had the same rude attitude greet us. My wife was making the calls to various providers and the lady on the other end at Massey was horrible. By the end of the call, my wife decided not to invite them. I don't even like seeing their trucks.

We've used Bates for the past few years for termite and pest control. So far so good. Their follow up has been good, they've answered our questions and they seem quite friendly and reliable.

I have used Massey for the last year. From the first time I had contact with them ,from the salesman to the office staff and from my tech , Chris , everyone has been outstanding. No one has ever Been nasty or rude to me. Everything was explained clearly and any questions I had were answered. Anytime I asked for someone to come out and take a look at something ,they responded quickly.

Sorry for your unfortunate experience.
On the other side of the coin, we have had Massey termite as well as Pest protection services for 6 years and never had a problem with any of the Massey people. Very professional operation from my perspective, and I recommend them every chance I get.

I have Massey and my first impression when I talked to someone, is that she was trying to push extra services on me. Then one day, a rep stopped by when driving around, and he spent the time with me to advise what services could be needed. I found their workers, to be pleasant and informative.

I can't say if I will stay with them, as many companies are out there, and I will shop for the best price, versus services rendered.

We had Massey come over when we first moved in to "learn" about our Termite bond, it turned out to just be a big sell on all of their services. I use and like Superior Services for termite/grass/bushes/bugs/sprinklers. They have a one price covers it all, and termite protection is a one time only fee as long as you keep their services. They service the lawn 12x a year, not quarterly or 6x a year like some companies. If you have any problems, they are here the next day.
