Default Kane Furniture

We're thinking about buying some furniture for our villa from Kane Furniture. Does anyone have any feedback about their experience with this company? Our concern is that the furniture won't last because it's so inexpensive. Love to hear from you. Thanks!

Kane's seems to have a pretty good guarantee on their furniture (on paper anyway---guaranteed for life) I bought a coffee table and end tables about a year ago...no problems.

We bought 2 lazy boy rocker/recliners form Kane last year and we love them. No problems with them. My brother also buys from Kane's and the furniture is still going strong and I think he bought from them over 8 years ago.

We bought an entertainment unit from them. It was not perfect when it was delivered---they brought us a new piece in short order that made us happy. Highly recommend.

Default Policy stinks

My sister bought and paid for a living room set that was in stock. Told them she wanted delivered in about 4 weeks. When she called to have it delivered, they told her it was not in stock. THEY SOLD her set to someone else because she did not take delivery right away. They had more on order and would be in around 4 weeks. They did give her money back. When we moved here we shop there. Their prices were right but not holding your furniture is their policy.

We bought a 3 piece leather set, two recliners and a sofa that reclines on the end seats from Kane's in Ocala. It's leather with baseball stitch and still looks new after a year. The three pieces were about $2000, then we added two end tables and two lamps from Kanes. We also bought bar stools and matching glass top dinette and a guest bedroom set from Southern Lifestyles at LSL. We had a good experience with both stores.

They were terrible when we used them two years ago

Took over an hour to write up the order in-store - did it by hand then tapped it one-fingered into a computer

promised delivery in six weeks, but called us after two weeks to say we couldn't have half of the furniture with the cover material we had ordered, despite the fact we chose it in-store from swatches provided by the sales agent, so we had to cancel that half

four months later we were still waiting for the remaining half of the order

Compare that with the excellent service we have always received from Southern Lifestyles
